Chapter 6, Marshall's strange feeling and Marshall gets hurt?

Marshall's P.O.V.
I had a strange feeling that I was being watched from a distance. Then Chase jumped on me. He had me pinned pretty well. "Oof, hi Chase," I say to him with a smile. "Hi, Marshy, I love you bro," Chase smiled back. His breath was hot against my face. "I love you too bro and how can I help you, Chasey?" I asked him. We have had nicknames for each other since the first time we met. "You want to hang out?" Chase asked me with a big smile on his face. "I don't know Chasey I'm kind of busy today," I reply. "Come on, please Marshall," Chase begged. "I don't know Chasey," I reply. "Pretty please with chocolate fudge on top," Chase replies. I sigh in defeat. "Alright fine Chase we can hang out," I reply I could see Chase's face light up with happiness. "Tag your it," Chase says as he runs off. So I chased after Chase so we played tag for hours without any interruptions. I was having fun playing tag with my Crush. It felt amazing to be in love with Chase at least I think I'm in love with Chase I'm unsure about it. I was thinking so hard that I didn't realize I was heading for the cliff edge. "Marshall look out!" Chase yelled but it was too late I couldn't stop in time I fell off the cliff and hit my head all I saw was a black void.

Chase's P.O.V.
"Marshall no. Ryder!" I yelled in my pup tag. "Chase what's wrong?" Ryder asked me with concern in his voice. "Marshall fell off the cliff edge," I reply. "I will be there," Ryder replies. Five minutes Ryder arrived. "Ok, tell me what happened," Ryder says to me. "Me and Marshall were playing tag when Marshall ran off the edge," I reply. I watched Ryder pull Marshall up. "We need to get him to Katie's," Ryder says with worry in his voice. "Let me get my cruiser," I reply. "No time we have to take Marshall's ambulance it's closer," Ryder replies. "But Ryder Sir I never driven Marshall's rig before," I reply. "Oh, it's easy now let's go got no time to waste," Ryder replies as he puts Marshall in the back of the ambulance. So I jumped into the Marshall's ambulance and we drove to Katie's. We arrived at Katie's.

Katie's P.O.V.
Ryder came running in holding Marshall in his arms. "Ryder, how can I help you?" I asked him. "It's Marshall he needs medical treatment ASAP," Ryder replies with a worried look. "Ok, I see what I can do," I reply as I grab Marshall and take him into a room. I put him on a heart monitor. Then Ryder walked into the room. "Is he going to be okay?" Ryder asked me. "Oh, he will be fine and what happened to him?" I asked him. "He fell off the cliff edge near the lookout," Ryder replies.  "Ryder isn't this the 6th pup that fell off that cliff edge I think you should probably block it off," I reply. "You are probably right," Ryder replies as he crosses his arms. "Marshall could've died," I reply. "I KNOW THAT KATIE JUST TELL ME I'M A BAD OWNER!" Ryder shouted at me. "Ok, I'm sorry Ryder I'm just trying to help you so you don't lose any more pups," I reply. "I know Katie and I'm sorry for yelling at you I shouldn't have done that," Ryder replies. "It's ok Ryder no harm done," I reply as I put my attention on Marshall. "I'm sorry Ryder but visiting hours are over," I say to him. "OK, bye Katie take care of Marshall," Ryder replies as he walks away.

Chase's P.O.V.
"Ryder is Marshall going to be ok?" I asked him. "I don't know Chase," Ryder replies. "This is all my fault If I had warned him sooner maybe he wouldn't be in the clinic," I say to him.
"Chase it's not your fault," Ryder replies as he pats my head.

Katie's P.O.V.
"Code blue in room 374 code blue in room 374 code blue in room 374," was announced over a loudspeaker. "Shit that's Marshall's room," I say as I ran for Marshall's room. As I got there Marshall's heart monitor was flatlining so I immediately started giving him CPR. "Don't die on me, Marshall," I say to him as I do CPR.
