The bondfire

Sarah and I walk into the living room and sit on the couch next to Kie

"Look who decided to come out of her room ladies and gentlemen!" John b says sarcastically

"Haha very funny" I say rolling my eyes

"I see Sarah convinced you to come with us." Pope says

"She's very convincing" I say looking at her

"That's true, I am" Sarah says smiling

I glanced over at JJ, we made eye contact for what felt like 5 minutes. In reality it was only 10 seconds. I wonder if he's still embarrassed about earlier?

He finally looked away when John b called his name. I swear I saw him smile at me before he looked away. Maybe I'm delusional

Everyone walks to the van and gets in. Sarah sat next to john b in the front, kie sat beside pope and that left me to sit beside JJ.

I got a little nervous, I'm not sure why because I've never got nervous around him before. Maybe it's because he saw me in just a towel or maybe I'm starting to have feelings for him?

But I shouldn't right?! I mean he's my brothers best friend and he definitely doesn't like me back. He can't.

After 10 minutes we finally get to the bonfire. Everyone gets out of the van, then JJ reaches his hand out to help me out of the car

"Thank you!" I say smiling at him

"Of course, your majesty." He says bowing then smiling back

I laugh at him and slap his shoulder

As we're walking towards the crowd of people on the beach, I can't help but think how I really don't want to be here right now. I'd rather be in my bed reading or listening to music. I know rafe is going to be here, and I don't want to see him at all.

Little backstory, about a year ago rafe would always hit on me when I went over to Sarah's house. He was constantly talking to me and flirting. It was okay a first but then one night i was leaving Tanny hill, and he stopped me in the hallway, trying to talk to me then hit on me again. I said no five times then tried to walk away.

But he wouldn't leave me alone. He then grabbed my hand and tried to kiss me. He said "It's fine, you'll like it. You know you want to grace" I immediately kicked him off of me and slapped him across the face. I ran out of there as fast as I could. I hopped on my bike and went home.

When i got home John b seen i was upset, but I didn't want to say anything. Until the next morning he finally got me to talk. That's another reason to add to the LONG list of reasons he hates rafe.

While Sarah and John b are dancing or doing whatever they were doing I just sat on a rock towards the other end of the party. Just watching the waves come up to shore.

I hear someone come walking towards me, but I don't really pay attention.

"What are you doing over here all by yourself?" I hear a familiar voice say getting closer

I turn my head and there was the one person I absolutely didn't want to see tonight. And of course he comes to me when there's hardly anyone around.

"Rafe, get away from me!" I say with a loud tone
