Chapter 2: The Same Day Again

Chapter 2: The Same Day Again

Ichigo prepares himself for the events that will happen later that day. He tries to recall the words he said, the actions he did, and the things that are about to occur.
He gets ready for school and goes ahead of Yuzu and Karin.

- 6:30 PM -

Ichigo walks home from school and spots delinquents skating on the way.

"Oh, I remember this. The flowers I put over there were knocked over by the guys skateboarding."

He takes in a deep breath and starts running toward the delinquents ready to kick one of them down.

"Say something.. you!!-" One of the delinquents said.

Before the delinquent could finish his sentence, Ichigo kicks him down and starts stomping on him.

"Oh, Toshinn's getting–!"
"This is bad!"
"He's so unreasonable!" The other delinquents said angrily.

"Just shut up! All of you.. look at that!" Ichigo said pointing at the glass bottle with flowers inside that was knocked down.

"First question, what is that? All right, you in the middle!" He shouted.

"Huh? Uhh well… flowers for the kid that died here the other day..?" The delinquent said nervously while sweating.

"You're correct!" Ichigo shouted as he kicked his face knocking the guy out.

He asks why the bottle of flowers were on its side and kicked the other two delinquents as they answered him.

"If you ever do it again.. I'll make it so that someone will have to offer flowers up for your souls too!" He said enraged with a scary look.

"We're so sorry!!" The delinquents cried out as they ran away screaming.

Ichigo breaks out of character as he can't help but laugh at the events of the past that he's reenacting again. He starts to remember the things that happened in the past and smiles at the thought of being in the moment again.

He looks at the glass bottle and tells the soul of the little girl that he would bring her flowers again the next day. He then fixes the bottle back up and continues to walk home.

Ichigo arrives home and as he opens the door he instinctively remembers to dodge his father's spinning kick and kicks his father back.

"Ouch! Hey, you delinquent! You know that dinnertime here is always at 7:00!" His father told him with an angry look.

"Hey man! Is this any way to treat your son who just laid his life on the line to help a ghost rest in peace?!" Ichigo replied, annoyed.

He and his father start trying to punch each other while Yuzu and Karin look at them while eating dinner. Ichigo manages to land a punch and thinks about dinner…

"You're wide open!"

His dad kicks his legs and pins him down, only to be thrown away by Ichigo. He punches his father once more and tells his sisters that he won't have dinner anymore.

Ichigo tosses his bag onto his chair and lies down on his bed.

"I don't think I dodged the first kick originally.." he said as he laughed to himself.

"I think I'll be meeting rukia by tomorrow, if I'm correct."

He looks at the ceiling as he closed his eyes and fell asleep right away.

- 7:30 AM -

"Good morning, Ichigo." Yuzu said as she was preparing breakfast.

"Morning.. Where's dad?" He replied back.

"He has a meeting, he won't be home tonight." She answered.

"I see.."

Ichigo grabs a freshly toasted bread from the toaster and puts it in his mouth as he looks at the news on the TV. It was a report on a new incident that happened near them about a random explosion.

He tries to recall what the next events were and remembers about a second explosion happening when he was walking to school.

He quickly walks out of his house and goes to the location he remembered. As he reaches the area he sees a hollow and the little girl he was offering flowers to running away.

He runs away with the little girl making sure she doesn't fall. Just as the hollow was catching up to them, a black colored butterfly flew to the hollow and a girl in black clothing appeared, slashing the hollow down.

The girl in black clothing looks back at Ichigo and the little girl then fades away.

"That was Rukia!" Ichigo's eyes brightened up and smiled as he thought to himself.

Now that he has finally seen Rukia in this timeline, the next events that are about to happen are the ones that completely changed his life.

"I didn't think I'd be this excited to see Rukia again, but it's nice being able to see the things that happened when we met again." He said with a gentle but excited voice.

- 8:00 PM -

Ichigo lies down in his bed waiting for the moment Rukia would arrive. As he was waiting he was thought about the funny things that happened that time, and now he gets to experience those moments again which made him happy.

Just then, a black colored butterfly flies into his room through the window. Ichigo smiles at the sight of it and gets ready to restate his past words.

Rukia lands on his desk waiting for the approaching hollow. Now it's time for Ichigo to say…

"Who.. are you?"
