Chapter 4: All Spirits Are To Be Saved

- 12 hours later -

It's 10 in the morning and Ichigo is still asleep. His door suddenly flies off as his dad jumps inside his room.

"Good morning, Ichigo!" Ichigo's father, Isshin said while he was flying towards Ichigo in an attempt to attack him.

Ichigo grabs his father's head and slams him onto the ground.

"You've got some nerve attacking your own son in his sleep!"

"You're pretty good, my boy! There's nothing left I have to teach you."

Ichigo sighs in relief as he remembers these exact scenes that happened in the past. After a few seconds he thought to himself:

"They don't remember anything that happened last night so there's no point in asking about it this time."

He goes downstairs and he sees one of the walls of the house destroyed.

"It's a miracle. A truck crashes into our house, and no one got hurt." Isshin said.

"Oh, that's right. Things still remain broken, I guess we'll have it fixed in a while." Ichigo thought.

"Right, I'll be meeting Rukia again at school. She was my classmate for a while.."

He goes back inside his room to prepare for school.

11:00 AM

"Ichigo, I heard a truck crashed into your house." Keigo said.

"Yeah.."

"Finished cleaning up yet?" Mizuiro asked Ichigo.

"It's not that easy."

"Need help?"

Ichigo looks to his right and sees Chad who he didn't notice.

"No, it's okay."

Just as they were talking to each other, someone was approaching behind Ichigo. In a slightly high pitched voice, a girl asked:

"Oh, are you Kurosaki?"

"That voice.."

He turns around and sees Rukia holding a textbook.

"...Rukia!" He thought.

"I'll be sitting next to you from today." Rukia told Ichigo.

"My name's Kuchiki."

While thinking of what to do, Ichigo decides to go with the flow of what Rukia is saying instead of acting surprised like before.

"I think this is our first meeting, right?" He said while reaching his hand out for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you." Rukia says as she shakes Ichigo's hand.

"Can I talk to you up on the rooftop?" She asks.

"Sure."

They both walk out of the classroom to go upstairs. While walking, Ichigo thinks of what to ask and how to respond to what Rukia will say on the rooftop.

"I should probably ask why she's here, I'm pretty sure I asked her the last time. Other than that, I guess I'll just listen."

- On the rooftop -

"Why are you here? Shouldn't you be back at that Soul Society place or whatever?"

"Don't be stupid, only Soul Reapers can go back there."

"Right now, I don't have that ability."

"What?"

"Last night, most of my Soul Reaper powers were taken by you."
