A/N: I apologize for not updating this book for a long time. As you can see, I need to finish my thesis for my graduation so I have been meeting with my counsellor a lot to fix my final dissertation. So, I hope you understand. Also, I would like to warn you this book contains NSFW, Biting, Gore, Blood, Profanities, Violence, Mention of Sickness and illness, and other stuff that could trigger the viewers.
P.s. The picture is not mine, it is from SEOURISE (Deviantart) with the title "Cafe De Luna night"

RECAP:
FIRST-PERSON POINT OF VIEW:

I still remember when Juli liked to climb on my shoulder and sometimes play with my (H/C) hair. Despite his tiny hands, he would make braids, even though they weren't really good. Juli then just stood on his four paws before shaking his body. Sadly, it is not allowed to bring animals to this cafe as a result. Ema put her finger on her lips and whispered silently at Juli.
"I'm sorry, Juli. Animals are not allowed in this cafe, so if you want a snack, You have to wait for me or (Y/N)-chan." The way she is speaking, Juli sounds as if the little critter understood her, but I'm not sure if animals can understand us since Juli probably says in squeaks. I was a little bit surprised that the grey squirrel nodded at her and then lay down once again to continue his slumber.

The fact that Hinata managed to sneak a squirrel into the restaurant was both surprising and amusing. Despite her initial shock, Y/N couldn't deny that the fluffy grey squirrel that was hidden inside her bag was quite a cutie. A warm smile spread across her face when she saw the little critter. Her mind was interrupted by the brunette girl, who asked out of nowhere.
"Hey, where are Mochi and Mocha, your adorable cats?" This unexpected question caught Y/N off guard.

(Y/N) replied, "Oh, they're at the pet saloon since they have some matted hair on the back of their ears and neck. They also need some baths since the two of them have not had their bath for two weeks.
Hinata nodded, her eyes sparkling with amusement as she shifted from squirrels to cats in an instant. It was moments like these that reminded (Y/N) of how much of an animal lover her cousin is. The way she spoils that little critter is almost as familiar as those mothers who like to spoil their beloved kids.

A familiar waiter with a black apron approached the table where Dad, Ema, Uncle Rintarou, my brothers, and I were seated. The waitress greeted them in Japanese with a warm smile, bowing slightly as a sign of respect. She has a few freckles across the bridge of her nose and a pair of glasses. I could not help but notice the waiter had a messy bun. The waitress approached us with a smile and said,
"Ru ka vu~in'yādokafe & resutoran e yōkoso. Kochira ga menyūbukkudesu. Yukkuri o erabi kudasai. (1)" The waiter pulls out the note from the pocket of his apron.

As the menu books were handed out to each person at the table, I carefully peeled the book cover so I could see what we could choose for the food. There were many choices in the menu book, with pictures next to the names of the dishes so we could see what they looked like. It seems this place serves many meals that look interesting, and some are vegan-friendly for those who don't want to eat meat.

I haven't eaten anything since we went to this place, so I can feel my stomach growling with hunger, and I decide to look at what this place serves by seeing the menu. There were many choices, but the one that caught my attention was the picture of the sweet, creamy flan with the tender meat of the spot prawn on top of it. It seems that this place also serves seafood, despite not being a five-star type of restaurant or cafe. Luckily, I don't have an allergy to prawns, so I think I can try this dish.
