The world around Amy slowly came into focus as her eyes fluttered open. A haze of confusion lingered as she tried to piece together her surroundings. Her head throbbed in protest as she propped herself up on the worn-out bed that felt strangely uncomfortable. Gently, her fingers explored the source of her discomfort, encountering bandages snugly wrapped around her head, arm, and waist.

"Where... Am I?" Her voice was weak, its sound foreign to her own ears. The echo of her question seemed to hang in the air as her memory slowly started to stitch itself together. She wasn't in a familiar place – that much was clear. The realization dawned upon her with a touch of panic as she took in the confines of her surroundings: a dimly lit cell, its cold walls a stark contrast to her usual vibrant adventures.

Amy's heart raced, anxiety gripping her chest as fragmented memories fought their way to the forefront of her mind. The encounter with the enigmatic twins, their strength and abilities far beyond her expectations, flooded back. A shiver ran down her spine as the memory of their sinister laughter and taunts resurfaced. She had put up a valiant fight, but in the end, their power had overwhelmed her.

"Oh right... Those two strangers," she mumbled, her voice tinged with a mix of frustration and begrudging respect. She rubbed her temples, hoping to ease the persistent ache. "I guess they were stronger than I thought."

Amy's gaze flitted nervously around her confinement, taking in the bizarre and advanced technology that encased her cell. It was a stark contrast to the simplicity of her own enclosure, and the unfamiliar surroundings only deepened her sense of unease. Her forehead glistened with a thin layer of sweat, mirroring the escalating tension inside her.

"Oh... Jeez, where is everyone?" Her voice wavered, a trembling note of worry lacing her words. Weakened, she leaned against the bars for support, her fingers gripping them tightly.

Desperation crept into her voice as she cried out, "Sonic? Tails? Knuckles? Anybody..?" The aches in her head persisted, adding to her growing fear and confusion.

Her frustrated gaze drifted downward to her signature red boots, the symbol of her determination and courage. "Why couldn't I stop them?" she muttered, her voice a whispered mantra of self-encouragement. "You're a tough gal, Amy! You've faced stronger foes before!"

Suddenly, the echoing sound of footsteps broke the oppressive silence, prompting Amy to whirl around. Her eyes widened in alarm as she beheld the two enigmatic strangers she had confronted earlier, the very foes who had outmatched her.

"Glad to see someone's awake!" Selena chimed in a disturbingly playful tone, clapping her hands together, the black leather gloves she wore adding an eerie edge to her demeanor.

Amy's fists clenched involuntarily at the sight of them, her frustration and anger bubbling to the surface. The presence of these twins felt like a cruel mockery, a constant reminder of her vulnerability.

"You guys again..." Amy's voice trembled with a mixture of defiance and confusion. "Look, what is your deal with me anyway? Did I maybe do something wrong to you?"

Seraphina's gaze remained unyielding, fixated on Amy's eyes before finally closing with an almost exasperated sigh. "You haven't done anything to us personally," she admitted, her tone icy and detached. "But the terror you and your friends have brought upon this world is unreal."

"Huh? What on earth are you talking about?" Amy retorted, her voice laced with offense. "We haven't been destroying the world; we've been saving the world for years from evil!"

Selena wasted no time in launching a counterattack, her chakram slamming against the iron bars with a resounding thud. Her playful smile remained, and her eyes sparkled with a devilish glint. "Don't try and fool us! The Doctor told us everything about you monsters!"
