TWs: Bullying

"Go on, go play with the other kids." You look up at your older brother, confused.

"Mommy said we have to stay together." He rolled his eyes, looking down at you in frustration.

"This is the fourth time I'm telling you, go play with the other kids. You need to stay in the daycare!"

  "But wwhhyyyyy-"

"Because! I said so!" You notice your brother's face is changing color, looking pinker. You frown as he places his hands on your shoulders, attempting to push you into the room.

"NooOooOooOoOoOooOoOOOO!!" You start screaming, hitting Barry's arms and chest. "I! DON'T! WANT! TO!"

"Stop. Screaming." He puts his hand over your mouth and you bite it, running further into the daycare as you get away from him. When you reach the jungle gym, you turn around, seeing Barry rubbing his hand as he stands in the entrance of the daycare. He's talking to one of his friends, and as they leave, you smile. Barry was blushing.

"Hello?" A voice behind you startles you, making you flinch. You turn around to see a girl in black shorts and a red t-shirt with grey stripes across the chest. She has brown roots and purple hair, reaching down to her shoulders. "What's your name?"

"Y/n. Who are you?" The girl crawls under a bar and stands in front of you.

"Rilee." I sit down and she sits down in front of me, crossing her legs. We stare, taking in each other's appearances. Her button nose and large eyes remind me of a doe, and her freckles only add to the idea.

"Who's your favorite animatronic?" She blinks, thinking for a moment. She smiles.

"I like Sun. Who's your favorite?"

"I like Monty. Alligators are cool. Did you know their eyes glow in the dark? Monty's eyes glow too." Her face lights up and she instantly begins smiling even wider.

"You're very pretty when you smile." You notice that she's blushing when she says this, but instead of pointing it out, you decide to smile. You stand up and decide to pull Rilee up with you, running deeper into the jungle gym. The two of you run through it, imagining yourselves as spies jumping between cars, concrete, and wreckage. You can feel blood pounding through your body, your feet pounding on the mats. When you emerge, you can hear Rilee panting behind you. You grab her hand again and climb over the looming castle walls, standing on top. Once Rilee is standing next to you, you smile at her, head rushing with adrenaline.

"Let's jump into the ball pit." Her smile fades away and she looks down, a whimper leaving her mouth at the height.

"I don't want to." She looks back up at you, tears pricking the corners of her eyes. "It's too far." The smile fades from your face, and you instantly feel bad.

"It's okay, you don't have to! We can just sit here, or we can go back down the other way." A tear drops down her face, and you can feel tears welling up in your eyes too. You sit down and pull Rilee down next to you, who's stuttering too much to answer your question. Her frustrated tears lead her to balling her hands into her fists, and she starts hitting the wall. Her anger and frustration is overwhelming, and you don't know what to do.

"Rilee, what are you doing? Please, stop!" She looks up at you and you take her hands in your own. She pulls you in for a hug and you squeeze her back, trying to calm her down. Her breathing is right beside your ear, and as it starts slowing, you let go of her. She scoots closer to you and lays her head on your shoulder, and you can feel your face heat up slightly.

  "Rilee, what's your favorite color?"

  "Purple. What's yours?"

"F/c." You can feel yourself nodding off, yet as you're seconds away from sleep, another kid climbs up the wall. You sit up and see two more climb up with him. One of them wears a green dress, one wears a blue one, and the other wears jeans and a Glamrock Freddy t-shirt. The two girls and the boy walk towards you, taller than either of you even as you stand up in front of Rilee.

  "What are your names?"

  "Y/n and Rilee. Yours?"

  "Your shirt looks stupid."

"Your face looks stupid." He pushes me, and you push him back, harder. He falls to his knees, and when he tries to push back, you kick his shoulder with your boot.

"Y/n, what are you doing?!" Rilee is standing behind you, and as you open your mouth to respond, you feel hands on your back. You fall onto Rilee and slide off of the wall, taking her with you. The two of you fall into the ball pit, letting out ear-piercing screams. The two girls and the boy jump down on the other side and start running away. Just then, the lights to the daycare go out, with an automated message saying, "Alright kids. It's naptime, so lay down on the provided mats as Moon watches over you, keeping you safe."

  "Naughty, naughty . . ."
