Spindrax, not surprisingly, was as comfortable with her romantic relationships as she was with others.

She kept saying that she wasn't good at this kind of thing, that she never knew how to behave with her loved ones.

And yet, the reality was there: of the entire spider gang, she was the only one who had found love. (Just pretend that the spider gang doesn't have lovers)

Since spindrax were the one who had responded favorably to her declaration of love... All in all, an eventful one.

In fact, it was spider queen who had encouraged her to declare her feelings to the green dragon. (AKA mei)

Only the said spider queen had never imagined that spindrax would actually do it, shy as she was.

The worst/best part of the story? It is that mei had answered yes.

Mei had accepted the feelings of the spider,  by confessing to her that she also planned to declare her flame to her very soon, without having the courage to do it.

Spider queen, cupid in spite of her. While she was expecting spindrax to chicken out at the last moment.

the young girl had stunned her by going all the way. She must have really loved mei to have managed such a feat.

The news had quickly spread around the spider gang and the monkie kids gang and everyone had been filled with joy upon hearing the news.

even though they were slightly frustrated. Spindrax was the last to arrive, and yet she was the first to find someone to love.

But hey. If she was happy, that was the main thing. With everything she had been through, spindrax deserved it more than anyone.

But there was still a shadow in the picture. Something the other members couldn't quite grasp.

How could you date a girl who couldn't look you in the eye without becoming a blushing mess? Without stumbling over every word she said, without spilling whatever was around her with sudden movements, too embarrassed to calm her own heartbeat?

So the question was: were you really receiving affection from your girlfriend, with all her strange ways?

It was obvious, however, that she couldn't get enough of mei for long.

How did they know that? It was very simple. Whenever mei were away, especially because of her parents , she was much less productive and often sighed, with all the sadness in the world in her eyes.

All that was missing was two ears lowered on top of her head, and the picture of the lonely little dog would be complete.

Or maybe a spider's, which was more likely?

In any case, her friends were starting to worry about mei's relationship. Spindrax was always so awkward and unentrepreneurial when she was with mei, and when mei weren't around she was depressed.

It was cute, sure, but the lack of reaction from mei made them fear for the future.

Mei didn't seem to mind spindrax excessive clumsiness. On the contrary, mei always looked at her with a sweet smile when it happened, and comforted her when she apologized for being so clumsy.

the sound of people being noisy as always. With pigsy cooking in the kitchen and Tang's slurping, Mk's sweeping the floor, sandy petting mo, Macaque and wukong fighting

Tang had just gotten up to go talk to pigsy about how he was paying with 'wisdom' and that he wasn't a freeloader, when the door to the shop began to open slowly.

The gang turned their heads briefly, discovering in the doorway that a little spindrax was looking attentively in the shop before turning around and continuing their work, greeting the young girl in coming.

Young girl who scanned each of the faces that were in the shop, before putting her eyes on the figure she was looking for so fervently. Mei was not in her usual place, so spindrax had had a little trouble finding her.

But it was okay, She had noticed mei.

Her heart was pounding has she had walked towards mei, and mei looked up from her phone just in time to see her stop in front of mei

her cheek was flushed red  and her eyes gazed over, as spindrax usually did when she was near mei.

"Good morning spidey, did you sleep well?" Mei asked with a big affectionate smile, leaving aside her phone on for the moment.

Mei saw the young girl nodding her head up and down, ecstatic at the adorable sight she was so generously offering mei. Mei reverie was cut short when she had realized something.

Before mei had a chance to ask spindrax what she was hiding behind her back, her hands came out from behind her and held out to you...

A bouquet of flowers, tied with a white satin ribbon. Nine red roses, to be exact. Perfectly blooming.

Speechless, mei raised her head to meet spindrax eyes, who was looking at her with a big smile, eyes closed.

her cheeks were still red, but her smile overshadowed everything else.

She... bought this for her?

"My god...!" Mei murmured as she brought her hands to her mouth, fighting the tears that threatened to fall at any moment. "This is too much spidey, you shouldn't have...!"

"I walked past a florist this morning, and these flowers reminded me of you.." spindrax said shyly, she was smiling even wider, as mei took the bouquet gently, as if it would break in her trembling hands.

She was far too adorable for her own good, that girl. Mei didn't waste any more time as she gently placed the bouquet on the table she rose  from her chair to wrap her arms around your girl's waist.

She burying her nose in the shirt spindrax was wearing, wiping her tears away with it at the same time.

Mei couldn't hold them back any longer, she was so happy. It wasn't the first time that spindrax gave her little things here and there, but it was always something magical.

Receiving gifts from the one she loved was the most beautiful thing in the world, without a doubt. And her returning mei's hug was the pinnacle of that ultimate happiness she were currently feeling.

Mei had even forgotten that they were not all alone in that shop. The gang were looking at them with wide eyes, completely stunned by the fact that spindrax was undoubtedly the most devoted girlfriend of the entire spider group.

Despite everything they had said about her, they had to admit that she beat them all to the punch when it came to showing affection to the one she loved.

They felt foolish for doubting spindrax now. Especially when they saw the two of them embracing each other like that, and especially when they saw the look on spindrax face when she hugged mei.

A soft smile was on her lips, her cheeks were much less red than usual, and her whole being exuded the joy of being the most genuine, as she rested her chin on mei's hair.

She hadn't just proven that she was far more dedicated than anyone else... She had humiliated them all in a matter of seconds.

Especially since the bouquet she gave you had a much deeper meaning than it first appeared. Nine roses...

The symbol of an eternal love.
