The penguins looked around in awe at the city. Everything looked so different at their new height angle. "Kowalski, what do you say we find ourselves some chow?" Skipper asked. Rico began to dance around as he screeched out, "Feesh! Feesh!" "Well Skipper, if I am correct, it would seem that the building on that corner sells human nourishment. We must blend Skipper." Kowalski gently reminded him. "Of course! Blend in men, human style." Skipper said before leading the way. They walked into a cheap greasy diner, sitting in a corner booth. "Alright men, we need to address slee-" Skipper was interrupted mid-speech by Private's giggling as he bounced on the cushion. Skipper glared at Private, who stopped immediately. "As I was saying, we need to address our lack of sleeping arr-" This time, Rico's maniacal chuckles interrupted Skipper. He too was bouncing on the booth, gaining a little more air than Private. Kowalski (who was sitting beside him) tried to subtly bounce. Shipped sighed and surrendered. He knew when he was beaten. Slowly, he began to join his squad, all four men jumping and laughing until they heard a rude polite cough. "Are y'all gonna order or are y'all gonna keep jumpin' round like a buncha fools?" The waitress asked. All four men stopped at once and took the sticky menus from her hands. They glanced over it. "We'll have four of your Seafood Delights platter." Skipper ordered as they handed back the menus. The waitress nodded her head, bored as she smacked on her gum. She turned on her heel and walked into the kitchen.
The four ex penguins began a serious talk of living arrangements. "I don't see what's wrong with the zoo." Private said stubbornly. "The zoo is meant to contain animals, not humans." Kowalski retorted. "That reminds me: Kowalski, we need to figure out the whereabouts of Dr. Blowhole." Skipper said as Kowalski made a note of it. Rico said nothing as he shoveled fried greasy seafood into his mouth. The other three guarded their plates as Rico began licking his plate. They are in silence, none knowing what they would do next. When the final piece of seafood was eaten, the waitress suddenly appeared. "Do y'all want somethin' else or are y'all ready fer the check?" She smacked around her gum. "We're ready for the check." Skipper answered. She pulled a small black folder out and handed it to Skipper. He looked at it. Kowalski mimed opening it. Skipper opened it and pulled out the receipt. His eyes widened and his jaw dropped. Kowalski pulled the paper from Skipper's limp hands and nearly had a heart attack. "Forty seven dollars for deep fried greasy seafood?!?" Skipper wheezed. Private looked worried. "What do we do Skipper?" Private asked. "Rico, how much do you have?' Skipper asked. Rico checked his gut and upchucked three dollars in quarters with partially digested seafood. Kowalski pulled out the money and counted. "We're forty four
dollars short, Skipper." Skipper put his head in his hands. "Hey, Skipper John, Kowalski, Rico and Private Kenny. What's wrong?" It was Raquel. "Well, Raquel, the problem is...." Private began. Skipper saved the day with his quick thinking. "We've been robbed and there's no way to pay our check." Raquel looked shocked. "Oh my god, that's horrible! Do you want to come live with me? My parents are on vacation and I'm know in charge of the house. There's plenty of room." The four men pretended to negotiate. "Miss Raquel, I believe we will take you up on your offer." Private said as he held out his hand for her to shake. Raquel smiled and paid the bill before leading the four ex penguins out of the greasy diner.
