Ch 1: Besties

"Okay, class dismissed."

The lady professor shouted with her high pitched voice, standing up from her chair.

She collected her books and worksheets from the table.
"Do not make any chaos." She warned and pushed her glasses up her nose bridge, glancing at the students who are ready to spread out of the class.

"Okay, I'm leaving." She turned her heels towards the door and just as she crossed the boundary of the class, all the students stood up from their respective seats and started moving out of the class like hungry zombies.

It is their departure time. Just as the class emptied, only two students were left.

The black-haired girl stood up from her seat. The chair made an ear-splitting screeching sound.

She groaned and stood there for a while. Then she walked around her desk and walked to the one just beside her.

She banged the table with her palm and lowered her head. "Y/N," She called out, in an annoyed tone.

The other girl with long brown hair, who is packing her books inside her bag, looked up.

"What happened now?" Y/N put her hands on her hips.

The girl raised her head.
"My brother's coming back from France tomorrow."

"Your brother?..... What was his name again? Ji... something."

"Yeah...Park Jimin." Sujin sighed.

"What's wrong?" Y/N asked, glancing at her best friend once.

"My brother's coming Y/N." Sujin told in a not-so-happy tone.

"And?"

"And there's gonna be a family get-together. You know.....how are our 'small' get-together's like, right?" She clicked her tongue.

Y/N laughed a little and nodded. "Yeah. Your supposedly 14 generation will be there."

"Yes."

"What's the problem in it? They are family. Plus, your house is huge. I'm sure, you'll find a quiet spot for yourself."

"It's not that easy, Y/N."

"C'mon Sujin."

"What c'mon? Throughout the whole reunion the things they are gonna ask me are, 'how's your studies going dear?', 'why don't you come to our house these days huh? Don't you miss your auntie-uncle?' , 'which college do you wanna go in?' Much worse, this is our last year in high school." She sighed and turned around walking towards the empty seat in front, and sat down abruptly.

Y/N smiled. "Relatives Sujin. Relatives."

"Also!" Sujin stood up. "My brother is the most annoying human being on earth."

"It's just for a day right? Why are you taking so much stress?"
Y/N pulled her bag from her chair and kept it on the table zipping it close.

"Sadly, he's settling here. He's gonna continue university here."

"Huh? Why?"

"I don't know. Maybe because that gentleman is the dumbest one in the world too. He's leaving France to study here.....among the 'relatives'."

Y/N laughed at her best friend's statement and slid her bag up her shoulder adjusting her skirt. "Leave it and let's go home."

Sujin nodded and walked towards her seat grabbing her bag and they both walked out of the classroom.

They were walking through the empty corridor.
"But there's one good thing you know."

"What?"

"Jimin's gonna be here. That means his friends are gonna visit us frequently."

"And you get to see your crush everyday huh?" Y/N wiggled her brows at Sujin.

"Yeah."
Sujin tried her best to hide her smile. "That's the only good thing though." She said suddenly pulling off a serious look.
Y/N laughed.

Just as they reached the gate, Y/N stopped.

"And yo-" She nudged Sujin's arm to stop talking.
"What?"

Y/N pointed her chin forward.
A guy who seemed to be a couple of years older, was leaning against a BMW.

Just as he noticed the girls, he smiled. A breathtaking one at that. Y/N was so taken back by his beauty. She stared at him without even blinking once.

"Hey..." He stood straight tugging his hands inside his jeans pockets. "I have been waiting....for a pretty long time, you know. I think the school's almost empty now."

The voice struck Y/N more. That deep melodic voice. Then she suddenly looked around thinking there might be his girlfriend behind her. But no, there was no one other than her own best friend.

"H..Hi. I mean uh.....what are you doing here?" Sujin nervously spoke. Y/N looked at Sujin, confused.

"He's here for you?" Y/N asked totally clueless.

"Yea." The guy spoke. "I'm Kim Taehyung. I'm her....."

"My brother's best friend."
Sujin quickly spoke. Y/N now looked at Sujin with an excited expression.

"Your, brother's best friend huh?" Her lips soon curled up to a smirk. Sujin nodded but eyed Y/N not to say anything embarrassing.

"I'm Kang Y/N. 'Her' best friend." Taehyung nodded once and smiled.
"Nice to meet you." Y/N spoke.

"Same here......So ah...Can we go home Sujin?" Taehyung asked.

Sujin instantly looked at Taehyung and nodded. "But why are you here, I mean-"

"Actually.....auntie told me to pick you up. I was on my way to your house. She said that I should pick you up......since it's your last week of high school."

"Oh god....my mom." Sujin sighed.
"I'm sorry bro...I..I mean Taehyung op-"

"Taehyung is good."

"Yea, I know. Calling seniors oppa all the time got in my head." She gave an embarrassed smile. He just nodded with a small smile.

"So-" "Yeah let's go." Taehyung nodded and turned around pulling the door of the car open and sat down on the driver's seat. Sujin looked at Y/N with a huge smile. Y/N hugged Sujin and whispered, "Be cool and don't embarrass me."

"Huh?"

"If you embarrass yourself in front of him, you'll definitely embarrass me....indirectly."
Y/N broke the hug and smiled.

"I thought I almost got a crush on him, it's my first time seeing him in person. Bro is that even a human? My brother in law." Y/N squealed.
Sujin rolled her eyes. "Bye."

"Byeeee."

Sujin left with Taehyung and Y/N smiled to herself.

I know, it was mostly about the second lead. I'm sorry if you guys are disappointed. But, there are gonna be some stories of Sujin and Taehyung too.

I don't wanna rush the story or only focus on the main leads. Please don't mind. If you think I'm rushing the lines please let me know.
