A Gift From A Cousin/ Dan Meets Marla

( It has been a week since June first met the autobots. Since then she has been stopping by every chance she got when she was not working. There have even been times when she would practice net battling with Miko and Raf, while her son Dan watched. That was until he received a package for him that had been sent by his cousin Lan and his wife Maylu)

( Sits on the stairs while looking at the package that he had gotten from his cousin ). I wonder what Lan sent me this time. Usually, he and his parents send mom a new battle chip. But this time it's addressed to me." Said Dan only for Miko to snatch it out of his hands. "  Nice box you got there,  do you know what's inside or at least have an idea?" Asked Miko as she shook the box. " No, but I would like it back, Miko. Can I have it back before you possibly break it?" Said Dan. " Oh come on where's the fun in that? Here let me open it for you." Said  Miko until the box was snatched from her hands by Arcee. " Come on Miko, you should know how rude it is to open a package that's not yours. (Hands the box back to Dan). Here you go Dan. Go ahead and open it." Said Arcee. " Whatever, I'm going to go net battle with your mom and Raf." Said Miko as she walked away. " Thanks, Arcee. ( Watches her and nod her head). If you don't mind, could you help me open it? ( Watches her kneel down and then use her finger to cut the tape on the box). Thanks Arcee. ( Opens the box and is shocked at what he finds inside the box). No way,  he actually built me one. This is awesome." Said Dan as he took out a pet device. 

" Cool, it's one of those pets that your mom, Miko and Raf have. But this one seems different somehow." Said Arcee. " So, you're my partner hu. Nice to meet you." Said a female voice as she walked into view on the screen. " Hey there, my name's Dan and this is my partner and friend Arcee." Said Dan as he and Arcee smiled. My name is Marla, your personal NET navi and I do mean personal. ( Points her left hand to an image on the screen showing the Pet scanning Dan's DNA and fingerprint before watching it say that the scan was complete).  There see, now you're the only one that can use this pet and partner with me. ( Hears the sound of people cheering and then looks behind Dan to his right to see Miko and June holding pets of their own. Before then looking at Arcee and then thinks of something). Hey Dan, why don't we practice so I can show you what I can do? Your partner can help out as well." Said Marla with Arcee raising an eyebrow. " How can I possibly join in? Don't you need to jack into a computer as they say?" Said  Arcee " Yes, but I scanned you and found that you can plug into things as well. ( Pats the back of her head). You had a cable port hidden back here don't you." Said Malra.

" ( Looks at Arcee with an interested look). How about we just make a copy of Arcee and then have you train with that." Said Dan. " That's fine two. She'll still need to connect to a terminal though." Said Marla as Dan carried her to an unused terminal with Arcee walking right behind him. " Ok, here goes nothing. ( Looks at Arcee who has attacked a cable to the back of her head. You ready?" Asked Dan. " As I'll ever be. Let's give this a try." Said  Arcee with a smile. " Sweet, then let's get started.  Jack in Marla, power up." Said Dan as he plugged in a cable to the terminal. 

( In the cyber-world)

" ( Sits on the floor waiting for Arcee until she hears the sound of someone logging in and then looks up to see Arcee and then stands up). So, are you ready?" Said Marla. " Yeah, but for now. Let's just see if we can make this copy of me, okay?" Said Arcee. " Sure thing, so I won't attack. I'll just focus on dodging for now. This will help me focus on my reaction time. So I'll only block or Dan can use a battle chip in defense." Said Marla as Arcee activated her arm blades while Dan activated a cyber-sword powerup which turned Marla's right hand into a sword. " Ready when you are Arcee." Said Dan with a smile. " Ready, now let's get this started." Said  Arcee as she and  Marla ran at each other.
