Chapter 07

Cheryl and Toni entered the Pembrooke, late as always.

"Hey!" Cheryl said as she hugged Veronica. A smile on both of the girls' face.

"I can't believe it worked!" Toni said before hugging Betty then Tabitha.

"So everyone got their powers huh" Cheryl said in a happy tone.

"Yup. Tried to burn myself earlier today, felt nothing" Archie said.

"I can see your auras again!" Betty said as she did her usual head nod.

Veronica took a random portrait out of her pocket. She leaned and kissed it. The picture started slowly rotting before it turned into nothing. She then looked at everyone as she raised her eyebrows with a proud look on her face.

"And I can't hear anymore....again" Jughead said before everyone started laughing.

"But you can hear our thoughts, can't you?" Toni asked.

"I mean, yeah"

Toni gulped as she gave Cheryl a look. The redhead raised her eyebrow in confusion.

"But don't worry, I can kind of control it so Im not hearing your thoughts 24/7" Jughead said as he looked Toni with a smirk understanding her 'concern'.

"Cheryl what about your pyrokinesis? Did you practise them?" Tabitha asked the redhead.

"Yes I did. They're still weak but I guess a little more practise will strengthen them."

"So...since you all got your powers back, can we go to our time, in 2023?" Kevin asked.

"We can, but everyone needs to pass their powers to me. Me and Anthony are the only ones that can move in time so we'll need a lot of power to return all of you" Tabitha explained.

"How do we pass them to you? Do we do it like we did last time?" Archie asked.

"No, I will get everyones powers and I'll transfer them to Tabitha through a blood serum" Anthony said, now everyone had a confused look in their faces. "After I get your powers, I'll give Tabitha some of my blood passing the powers to her."

"But theres a catch"Tabitha said with a sad look on her face. "We can take everyone who was alive safely to 2023...but...there's a huge chance the others wont make it. Clay, Julian, Midge, Polly and everyone who wasn't alive in our time, might not survive."

"How? I mean why" Fangs asked, worried about his Midge.

"They happen to be alive because of the disorders the comet caused. Taking you back to 2023 will fix the order of the universe. Probably taking them where they belong. Also us being here shifted all the actual people of this time to 'The void'. 'The void' is some kind of purgatory where lost souls wander. Poppy Blossom and all your ancestors are there."

"I remember Sabrina the witch told me about that place" Cheryl said. "So thats where Poppy is....technically the people who belong to this time were replaced by us"

"Exactly! Thats why Clay and the other might not make it. They neither belong here nor to our time" Tabitha said.

Everyone seemed to be sad. They all had built bonds with them. Some even were in relationships and were about to have kids with those who probably wouldnt make it.

"Ill give you some time to procces all this. I know its not easy but we have to be strong" Tabitha said.

Cheryl and Toni returned to Thornhill. They explained everything to Julian. Well everything exept...the 'might die' part.

"So...you guys are going back? What about us, the ones who weren't in any of the tapes?"
