The car rolled smoothly down the highway, heading towards LA. Dream and I were in the backseat of Alex's car, the middle screen rolled up to give us some privacy. It was just the two of us now, and the atmosphere felt lighter, filled with an undercurrent of excitement and playful energy.

"So, Dream," I said, turning to him with a smile. "What's got you so determined to drag me around LA today?"

Dream chuckled, his gaze shifting from the window to me. "Well, I figured it's the perfect opportunity to spoil you a bit. It's not often we get to do something like this, so why not make the most of it?"

I raised an eyebrow, feigning surprise. "Spoil me, huh? What exactly do you have in mind?"

He leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "You know, whatever you want I will buy, no questions, maybe some nice meals, and whatever else you might fancy. I'm treating you like royalty today."

I laughed, shaking my head. "Royalty, huh? I didn't realize I was that high-maintenance."

"Believe me," Dream said with a grin, "you're worth it. Besides, it's not every day I get to spend time with you like this."

I felt a flutter of warmth at his words, and I couldn't help but tease him a bit. "Well, if I'm royalty, then I suppose I should get used to this kind of treatment. What's next—carriage rides and crown jewels?"

Dream's eyes sparkled. "If that's what you want, I can arrange it. But for now, how about we start with some shopping? I hear there's a pretty amazing store that just opened up. They say it's got everything you could ever want."

"I'm not too fussed on shop's" I leaned back, giving him a sidelong glance. "And what if I want you to buy me something completely ridiculous, just to see if you'll actually do it?"

Dream's smile widened, his hand brushing lightly against mine. "Challenge accepted. I'll buy you whatever you want—within reason. But you have to promise to admit that you will enjoy it."

I met his gaze, feeling a flutter of excitement. "Deal."

He laughed, a genuine, joyful sound that made me smile even more. "I'm counting on it.

As Alex pulled into a quiet corner of the parking lot, Dream and I exchanged a glance, both of us eager to get out of the car. Alex gave us a quick nod, reminding us to call him when we were done shopping so he could pick us up. We thanked him and climbed out, stretching as we stood on the pavement.

The sun was shining brightly as we made our way to the entrance of the mall, and our excitement was palpable. Once inside, we headed straight for the elevators. Just as the doors slid shut behind us and we started ascending, the familiar beats of "Be My Baby" filled the small space. It was a classic song, and I could tell Dream's mood instantly lifted.

I glanced over at Dream and saw his eyes light up with recognition. Without missing a beat, he started singing along, his voice filling the elevator. "Be my, be my baby..." he sang, his tone playful and enthusiastic.

I couldn't help but laugh at his sudden burst of energy. "Stop it, Dream," I said, trying to suppress my grin.

But Dream was having none of it. He just kept on singing, his eyes locked on mine as he swayed to the rhythm. Suddenly, he grabbed my hands and started spinning me around, twirling us in the confined space.

I laughed, trying to keep my balance as we spun. "I'm not doing this sober!" I protested, feeling a mix of dizziness and amusement.

Dream chuckled, his laughter mingling with the song's upbeat melody. "What's the difference?" he asked, spinning me once more before pulling me close. "I think you're having fun."
