You just came home from hanging out at at the lake with your friends

"hey mom I'm back" I said as I opened a water bottle "hello honey how was it, did you have fun? " she said while feeding Oli(Oliver) my baby brother
"yeah it was fun, btw is dad here I saw his car outside ?"
"oh yeah he came over for dinner he's in the backyard playing with Charlie"

Backyard:

"Actually, those are Herbivores. They wouldn't be interested in fighting each other. But these ones are Carnivores and they really like fighting with each other. They use their theeth and claws to rip each other's throats out" I heard dad say to Charlie as I walked to them

"dad, he's three. Lets wait till he's five" I whispered the last part and chuckled. "oh, right. Sorry Charlie" dad said laughing. Charlie just looked at him dumbfounded and kept played.
"hey kiddo how are you" dad asked.
"I'm good I was at the lake with my freinds" i said and started telling him about my day when my mom came out with oli in her hand and her assistant behind her they started talking about some work things and my moms book

"my Editor thinks he's a paleontologist" mom said to dad laughing

Then my step-dad came home
"hey Mark" mom said to him
"hey, baby look who's here" she said in a more like baby woice to oli.
"hey Mark" I said waving to him while playing with Charlie

"hey guys" mark said smiling and taking oli from my moms hands.
"oh I since when is Alan here" he said surprised and shocked dad's hand.

Charlie then jumped infront of Mark and said "daddy, this is a herbivore... And Alan's the dinosaur man" We all laughed "

" The dinosaur man?" dad asked laughing

Evening:

After dinner I went upstairs to my room and watched some movies my parents and step-dad where downstairs chatting about work and everything adults talk about

2 hours later:

My dad came into my room" hey kiddo whatcha doing? "
"nothing much just watching some movies, what's up?" I said sitting up

"just wanted to tell you im off to go" he said
"oh alright but I can still come with you tomorrow right?"
I asked "yeah of course sweetie, I'll pick you up at 9" he smiled at me we said our goodbyes and he drove home.

After that I showered brushed my theeth and pit on my pj.
