An introduction to my SMG4 AU, a rewrite of the SMG4 storyline with my own twist on it! Not much to add here because I explain more in the writing ^_^!
Persona AU is a semi-canon AU I've written out of pure love for SMG4. I enjoy taking medias I like and putting my own spins on them for fun, seeing what I can do with an already existing media. I hold no ill will towards the shows writing (though there are things I dislike, which I do change in my AU.)
Due to the characters I'm heavily hyperfixated on, one of the main goals for this AU is to flesh out Melony's character more. She's not necessarily the new protagonist since I'm keeping it as SMG4, but a lot of my writing will be focused on her. I will still be writing stories focused on other characters, though ;) So stay tuned for that! (If I don't get burnt out..)
There are a few new concepts I've added and some I've expanded on. The most notable ones being the reapers and the afterlife. The fourth wall plays a big role in the AU, specifically regarding the SMGs (mainly SMG4 himself). If possible, I will be making different fics detailing how each of these concepts work.
I am not the best writer, in fact I have a hard time writing simple roleplay responses, but I think stuff like this is fun :)! Sorry if any of my eventual writing falls flat or is just bad in general, it's not my strong suit.
I suggest checking out my toyhouse and twitter account if you want to see character designs/extra AU content! My toyhouse holds all my reference sheets and character art, and on my twitter account i post a bunch of silly stuff in regards to the characters. (All of these are linked in my profile!)
I've already written several episodes for my AU! I was originally hosting them on google docs, but decided to move to wattpad for better organization.
Before moving to wattpad, I left the episodes off in the Genesis arc. I will be continuing with the Revelations arc + onward here.
