A few days had passed and unfortunately, you were forced to take Springtrap to work every single day. Every. Single. Day. It wasn't too bad admittedly, but you wish he was easier to transport.
Now as Friday came to its end and Saturday morning climbed into the sky, you were happily making your exit from work, a giant bunny on your trail.
"Y/N?" A voice called to you, stopping you in place abruptly mid-parking lot. You turned on your heel, Springtrap groaning beside you like a grumpy child.
"Ignore him, Y/N. I want to go home." Springtrap growled, but you brushed him off with a scoff.
You turned back and jogged over to Henry, giving him a very tired smile, your face aching as well as your body. You felt a gross feeling all over, like sweat, but a cold sweat from the grime your uniform had picked up from every night of work this week. You honestly agreed with Springtrap, you wanted to go home.
"Henry?" You greeted, waiting for him to speak further since he obviously recognized you. He was pale, staring at Springtrap in the parking lot who didn't even make a full attempt to look back at you both. His head was twisted back, his torso copying only halfway and he was deeply slouched because he, too, was tired. But from a persons point of view... He looked disturbing as hell.
"How is it moving?" Henry asked quietly, eyes finally flickering to you, then back to the monstrous bunny.
You hummed. "Oh, I gave him free roam. " You said quickly, using the best excuse in the book. You felt smart, proud even. You were quick to think of lies even when you couldn't remember what you ate yesterday.
"But he follows you. " Henry said, unnerved. His distress was so clear you could probably taste it just by looking at him. His face was contorted to look so utterly displeased and horrified, you could've mistaken him for seeing a ghost.
You frowned and exhaled.
"I'm just good at what I do, Henry. I wouldn't worry about it." You muttered, turning away to leave. You deeply craved to go home and read a book. Plus...
"Just good at what you do? Y/N, that's not how we built those at all... that's... terrible."
You felt a deep pain in your chest, not only because he was insulting Springtrap who you... honestly cared about, he was calling all of your hard work to restore him terrible. Does he really look that scary? You suppose, in all truth, you're the only one who has seen the horrors at night. Nonetheless, Henry is overreacting. He hurt your feelings.
You snuffed softly and crossed your arms, putting space between you.
"I told you to keep that thing away from me, too. You're bringing it to work? Y/N, you've been ignoring everything I tell you lately, it hurts. " Your expression shortened and you gave him a confused look. He looked back at you the same. "What's with you?"
"Nothing, I'm just doing my job. " You grumbled. "I didn't want to leave him home alone, I was worried about... AI disfunctions." You lied.
"Then deactivate him!" Henry growled, pushing past you.
You felt oddly enraged that he was so angry with you for bringing what is basically a tall doll to work, it's not like he knows Springtrap has freewill. You scoffed, annoyed and feeling unheard. Sadly, he heard you.
"And you're so moody too! Get your shit together, I'm- I'm sick of it!" Henry shouted back before going inside to speak with dayshift... whenever he arrives. You chuckled so sarcastically as you speed walked towards Springtrap, still standing, watching, roasting in the hot sun. It even warm your neck, it felt like hot hands touching you all over. You were unbelievably uncomfortable right now.
