"𝐌𝐒. 𝐌𝐘𝐔𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 give me feedback on today's lesson?" Mr.Lester called taraji out in front of the class, making her lift her head up from her paper.

Mr.Lester had a very weird obsession with taraji, he would constantly call her out, or pick with her about something she was doing that everyone else was doing as well, and It was starting to bother her .

This was one of the reasons why last week she went to the office to request a schedule change. She didn't want to be in a class where she felt like she was constantly getting picked on every time she was there. It got tiring and old very quickly.

"Uhh—" she got cut off by the sound of the classroom phone rigging.

She took a deep breath, feeling the attention leave her. "Ms. Myung, go to guidance." Mr.Lester called her out once more, walking back to his seat while taraji got up from hers.

She grabbed her bookbag, slinging it over her shoulder before exiting the classroom.

She wondered what they might've wanted her for, it could've possibly been about credit loss because of her absences and tardiness.

She obviously knew that if she lost enough credit that she wouldn't be able to graduate, but it wasn't really something that she cared about or looked forward to anyway.

Not that she wouldn't try because if she did then she did and that was great, but it wasn't like she had anyone to make proud, anyone to sit in the stands and root for her, or anyone to hug her when the ceremony ended. Plus she had people she had to look after and care for, so going to college wasn't exactly in her favor anyway.

She didn't have a support system so she didn't exactly know how to feel about things like that. She was gonna do what she could and that was enough for her.

She walked down the hallway before making a right so she could reach the guidance office. She hoped that it wasn't about credit loss though because she didn't really feel like sitting down there for thirty minutes while they explained things she already had knowledge of.

"Hi how may I help you?" The lady behind the desk spoke up—seeing taraji slowly walk in the quiet office space.

"Um, I was called down here from class" she cleared her throat, walking up to the front of the desk.

"Can you tell me your full name and grade?" The lady instructed, she had an intimating look on her face—like she had been irritated.

"Taraji Myung, and I'm in 12th grade." She informed her while she looked around the almost empty office. There was only 2 other people in here, there was another lady that was working behind a different desk—typing rapidly, like she was in a rush or something, as well as a boy sitting in a chair in the waiting area of the office.
