Yo!
About this UA fanfiction. You must have realized that I hate groups that indiscriminately kill demons no matter if it's good or bad, having the aggravation of brutally torturing and enslaving.
But, this hate comes from another Asian drama. In this drama, groups similar to the demon masters from The Blue Whisper, but with another name that I don't remember right now, hunt a cat demon (I love cats and started to revolt when I saw the hunt). The worst thing is that they didn't care about the fact that this demon truly loved a human and this human loved her too. They ignored the plea to leave them alone. Just for being a demon she deserved death in the eyes of the bastards who hunted her.
At the end of the hunt, the human sacrifices himself to save his beloved from a blow and, devastated by the death of her beloved, she destroys her essence (something common among demons in Asian dramas), to die with her beloved and begs for him to be buried with him.
However, they throw it like garbage in a corner and just bury the human far away.
All this made me hate these groups. Monks still exercise some judgment, aside from the fact that one of the vows they follow is not to kill.
So even if it's a demon, don't kill indiscriminately. But those other groups with spiritual powers don't have votes like that, so they can do whatever they want.
Before I watched The Blue Whisper I already hated them. Demon masters just magnified it with the exception of a few who are decent. But it's like "finding a needle in a haystack".
I know I should separate feelings, but demon masters with powers not only to kill, but to torture and enslave demons regardless of whether they are good or bad is something that irritates me deeply because it is very unfair. So many humans who do terrible atrocities and nothing happens while these people with spiritual powers kill, torture and enslave demons, even those who are good or who are neutral is revolting.
It is this injustice that revolts me.
I just wanted to explain my view on them and that I will bring up justification for the characters' contempt and/or anger towards them as the story progresses.
Other information. As you may have seen it is a crossover of Asian dramas. The character Qing Hua, Lin Canglan's demon slave (yes, I changed his demon slave), is a character from the drama Eternal Love Dream (Three lives, three worlds The bedside book). I was revolted by what she did and it left a bitter taste of injustice because she suffered something, very lightly, just a few years later after all the cruelty she did to Aranya. Being tortured and then enslaved was in part to resolve this injustice considering how arrogant and proud she was. I still reserve some things for that bastard.
As for the nine-tailed black fox (Lin Canglan's original demon slave), Qing Shu, she has yet to appear in the story.
Another character that appeared that I forgot to mention was Li Cang. He is the adult version of the child Li Cang who appears in New Life Begins. In the original drama, he is the protagonist's younger brother.
In addition to the main couple of New Life Begins, Yin Zheng and Li Wei, we also have the characters Yuan Ying who is the sapphire dragon and Shangguan Jing who is the diamond tigress. I chose both and which demon they would be based on their personalities and mannerisms from the original drama.
