Chapter 8

KEHLANI POV (TWO MONTH LATER)

With Jorden's suit I got from the dry cleaners I make my way into the house using the key they've given me. Even though I'm just their sub and we occasionally have sex and hang out from time to time; I try to help anyway I can. They both have busy schedules and run businesses so little basic things are hard for them to do. Like picking up dry cleaning.

I close the door behind me waving to Maria their maid and head upstairs to their room putting his suit in his closet. As I'm closing the door I hear,

"Who are you? And what are you doing here?"

Turning I'm face to face with an older woman who has Nomi on her hip.

"O-Oh h-hi....I'm -" I stutter over my words
"That's Lani! Mommy and Daddy's friend. She's the one I told you about Gran-ma" Nomi says cutting me off as she smiles at me

"Oh yes I remember...hmm but that still didn't answer my question. What are you doing here?"
"I just came to drop of Jorden's dry cleaning" I say a little scared

"Hmm. I'll let him know and you can leave now" she steps back giving me space to walk out the room

"Yes. Umm you two have a great day...bye Nomi"
"Bye! Lani!" Nomi says back to me as I take my leave

Yeahhh..... that had to be Jorden's mom. They already told me that she can come off harsh and a little mean. I should've left the suit with Maria like they told me... instead of going inside. They're gonna be so mad at me once she tells them.

After I take off I drive to Wendy's getting their 5 dollar Biggie bag, and send a quick text to Megan. She's at a meeting so I hope I'm not disturbing her. But I quickly get a text back.

Call me NOW

Swallowing hard I decide to call her once I have my food and am in the car. But she had other plans.

"When I say call me now, that means right there and then" she says
"I-I-I'm sorry, I'm in Wendy's getting some food and said I was gonna call you once I get out of here"

"So food was more important"
"T-That's not what I'm say-"

"Then what are you saying? Cause all I know is that we gave you rules and you didn't follow them...what was you supposed to do?" She cuts me off saying as I was stuttering

"Hello. I know I'm not talking to myself. Answer me!" She says after I don't quickly answer her

"I did what I was supposed to do. I got the suit and brought it to the house-" I try to explain lowly so no one around me hears me being scolded

"But I said-"

"Order number fifty two" I hear the girl behind the counter shout and I go grab my food thanking her not even paying attention to what Megan is saying

I get in my car and hear nothing but silence on her end.

"Hello Megan?"
"We told you that we like to keep our bedroom business far away from our family. And you took it upon yourself to go into the house instead of giving the suit to Maria as we asked you to do"

"And I'm sorry"
"Kehlani. All I'm going to say is a punishment of thirty is coming your way. You don't wanna listen then you face the consequences. See you at the den at eleven, and you better not be late" she says and hangs up

Fuck! I shout and drive off to head home

"So let me get this straight you went up in their house. THEIR house without permission and brought his dry cleaning....yeah they gonna get yo ass" Dom says as we sit in our kitchen eating
