Mr.Plant x Argos Oneshots (Eye Love You)

          Argos' body slammed against the ground, a harsh cough leaving him as he rolled over in pain. A bit of blood splattered due to the cut in his mouth, his shaky hands pressing against the floor as he coughed. His mind was racing as his cheek throbbed. A shaky breath left him as he quickly rolled back over, his heart jerking in fear at the sight of the man towering over him. He gasped, quickly propping himself up before scooting back quickly. His heart was racing as he tried to think of a way out, but his hope was diminishing as he saw the hammer in the man's band. "S–Stay back!" He demanded as he scooted farther, but the man did not listen. He proceeded to approach Argos, who was scooting back quicker. His back hit the wall, tears beginning to swell in his eyes. He wasn't ready to die, not yet. He hadn't even had an opportunity to see Mr. Plant one last time. The kids were probably going to be hurt as well, if not already. His breathing began to quicken as the tears in his eyes only grew, pushing himself as close to the wall as he could to try and not be as close as possible to the man. Argos was on the verge of a panic attack when he suddenly froze. He felt the familiar feeling of tension, as well as the hair on the back of his neck standing up. His eyes widened as his breath, while still shaky, left him. He noticed that the man, too, froze. It wasn't until Argos glanced behind the man that he understood.
          Eyes swelling with more tears to the point that some fell, Argos quickly scrambled to his feet and ran toward the door. Argos' vision was now blurred by his tears, but he could see the shape of a flower head as well as a green long sleeve. He let out a struggled sob as he hugged the figure tightly, burying his face into their chest. He couldn't see as Mr. Plant's eyes stared at the back of the man's head, his eyes leaking their black substance much more than usual. He slowly put an arm around Argos to comfort him, but he never took his eyes off of the man. He then gently pushed Argos back, not wanting to do so. "Get the kids," he said calmly. "Get the kids and wait outside."
          "W–What–," Argos started, struggling to talk. "What ab–out you?" Mr. Plant gently took Argos' hand, giving it a firm squeeze. "It's not me you need to worry about." Argos glanced back at the man with his teary eyes before quickly dashing out of the room.

          "Tea?" Mr. Plant asked, leaning over the back of the couch to look at Argos. Argos, wrapped in a blanket and now wearing his usual cream colored shirt and black pants, did not respond. His drained eyes simply stared at the TV. This worried Mr. Plant. "Argos?" He asked, placing a hand on Argos' shoulder. Argos flinched slightly, snapping his head in Mr. Plant's direction. "Oh– I'm sorry, I didn't hear you," he said, flashing a faint smile. "What'd you ask?" Mr. Plant paused. "I asked if you wanted tea."
          "Yes, please," Argos responded, flashing a bigger smile of appreciation. Mr. Plant took in the look in Argos' eyes, his heart hurting. "Are you okay?" He asked. Argos blinked, his smile dropping. He then looked back at the TV. "I'm fine," he said dully. Mr. Plant felt nothing but pain for Argos. Everything made him flinch, whether it be the rain or just moving slightly. He thought about it as he walked back into the kitchen, fixing him up a mug of hot tea.

          Argos yawned, shaking his head slightly before looking back at the TV. He was scooted up to Mr. Plant, who had an arm resting on the armrest as it propped his head up. He thought of nothing in particular as he watched the TV. He was then snapped out of his thoughts as he felt Argos' head rest on his shoulder. Mr. Plant looked, seeing the Argos' eyes were now closed. He felt a slight sense of relief, slowly moving his arm to wrap it around Argos. He then looked back at the TV, holding his loved one as he slept.
