I clear my mind as I wipe my eyes,
I dust my hands as I say goodbye,
The emotional storm... I shall rise,
you cannot say I did not try,

But you chose drugs over me,
Chance after chance you were given,
but the drugs is the only thing you kept hidden,

My heart aches with each good bye
