mila's pov:

the room well just look for yourselves:

i know even my jaw was open. nikolai moved and took a seat on a chair. "i know you have no clothes so i told gabriel to bring some but we can go shopping tomorrow for now i can see if anyone has spare nightclothes." he says and i'm still in awe of this room. even at home my room wasn't as stunning as this. 

"my room is opposite yours and my office is next door to your room." he says and i nod.he walks over and smiles. "i'm going to go i'll see you in the morning is that okay?" he asks and i hug him. "thanks" i say and his smile is different this time. it's like his full face lit up. "the bathrooms through there it is connected to the closet but you know"he says murmuring something before walking to the door and leaving. 

nikolai's pov:

i leave mila to settle in her room and walk straight into my office. i haven't been in there in years. i have that room cleaned every other day and for once it's being used. i banned everyone except for aleksei to enter. for the first time i let someone else enter. truth be told i would have preferred she came into my room but after what she went through today i'm going to try and give her as much space as possible.

i open my laptop and head to work. i've already told my cousin aleksandra for some spare night clothes and she said she'll be up after dinner. i get on with my work but the second i start working the door opens and again there's no knock. 

i look up and it's aleksei as always. he sits down after getting the same book he always gets. "do you not know to knock?" i ask and he shakes his head. "what do you want" i ask and he sighs. "you gave her mom's old room" he whispers and i freeze. 

"no it's not a bad thing i'm happy you're getting better" he says and i nod. "you know i remember when mom told you that your wife will be in there one day and you gave her that room" he says smiling. i remember that day. mom was ill and we were in her room and she told me that one day my wife would have this room. i believed that until the day she died.

"i've got training so i've got to go" he says getting up and leaving. i sit there now confused. he's right i gave her that room. the one that's meant for my wife. the future donna and here i am happy that she's in there. fucking hell this is crazy.

i stare at my screen now unsure if i want to work. i'm about to shut the mac down when i hear a knock on the door. finally someone who will fucking listen to me when i need them to. "come in" i say loud so that they can enter. "hey i got the clothes you asked for" aleksandra says walking in and i take the clothes of her and put it to the side. 

"come on tell me who's the unfortunate girl stuck with you" she says smirking and taking a seat. i can't help but roll my eyes. this girl is a fucking pain sometimes. "who said you can take a seat?" i ask and she sighs getting up. "typical baby cousin getting annoyed" she says walking towards the door. 

"you want to meet her" i say and she turn around getting excited. "i thought you'd never ask" she yells and i give her the look that means shut up or else. "give me the clothes then you idiot" she says and i hand them to her. she steps out of the offices and i sit there questioning whether that was a bad idea or not.

mila's pov:

i was messaging elissa to talk to her about random stuff. she did as why i wasn't in but i just said i wasn't feeling it. if i tell her about charles then she'll personally march over here and cut his balls off and then punch my dad repeatedly in the face till he admits he fucked up.

there's a knock on the door and i look over. maybe it's nikolai. "come in" i say and a beautiful no stunning girl enters. 

she sees me and smiles before walking in gracefully. "i'm aleksandra the better looking romanov" she says walking over towards me and the taking a seat. i smile. she seems like a really bubbly person. "i'm mila" i say and she looks a little confused at me. "are you british?" she asks and i can't help but laugh. "i grew up there yes" i say and she nods. 

"sorry i didn't mean to be rude but here are the night clothes nikolai asked me to bring it to you" she says handing me the clothes and i thank her. "can i just say your beautiful" she says and i look at her like she's said the most stupidest thing ever. "have  you seen yourself?" i ask and she snorts whilst laughing. i feel like we're going to be great friends. 

we end up talking for hours and then we hear a knock on the door. "come in" i say and nikolai walks in. "aleksandra why are you still here?" nikolai says sighing and i look over at her and she's smirking. "can i not get to know my future cousin" she says and my eyes widen. okay we're getting a little far. 

"aleksandra leave" nikolai says agressively and she gets up and gives me a hug before leaving. i don't think nikolai will marry me. he doesn't seem to like commitment and at least he's honest about him. after this month i'll disappear and never come back to him. 

"i'm sorry if she went too far" he says and i nod. "i'll have a shower and head to bed goodnight" i say and he seems a little hurt but turns to leave. 

i walk into the bathroom and just like the room and the rest of the fucking place it's magnificent. i have a quick shower using the stuff left for me. what on earth is a coconut milk bath soak? there's a bunch of stuff i don't know. i just use what i need and then change before heading into bed. 

it's really quiet. i don't like being alone. i stare at the ceiling not being able to sleep and i don't want to disturb nikolai so i start counting hoping i'll get bored enough to sleep.

another chapter down.

omg the funniest thing happened today. my dad was like what's only fans he'd heard someone say it on tiktok and me and all my siblings burst out laughing. so my sister decided not to go in detail and tell him it's when people take pictures and post it and make money. but that's not the best bit. he went oh that's easy i could do that. he went and i quote 'is it like 5 dollars a selfie' which made me cackle and roll around on the floor.

my brother ended up explaining it in more detail and my dad just found it hilarious joking around. 

anyways i hope u enjoyed the chapter good night my lovelies. or good morning but it's night right now for me.
