it's the next day, everyone left after we watched a movie and tonight we decided to just have a low-key dinner since we were still a little tired after yesterday. I'm not sure what restaurant we are going to but we'll figure it out soon.
I think I'm gonna call Delilah and just go on a drive or something.
I pick up my phone and call her, it rings for a couple of seconds then she picks up immediately.
"hey bitch what's up" she says loudly
I laugh and say "You wanna go for a drive and just chill maybe talk and shit"
"of course, I'm always down for that, what time are we gonna go?" she asks
"I mean I can get ready and we can just go now? I'll drive to your house so you don't have to leave your car here" I tell her
"yeah sure that's fine, text me when you are leaving" she replies
"ok see ya de" I say
"bye bri" she hangs up
I take a deep breath and lay in bed for one more minute then decide to get up so I can head over to her house. I throw something simple and comfortable on and then put on some light makeup.

it's been 30 minutes so I text Delilah telling her I'm on my way now.
I get in my car and shuffle my playlist, a song called i'm so lonely with you by Maggie Lindemann starts playing.

that's my favorite part I love screaming in rock songs and stuff. I listen to some other music and then I start to pull into Delilah's driveway.
I honk the horn and see Delilah walking out a minute later.
"hey what's up" she says as she gets in and buckles her seatbelt
"Nothing much I just figured we could have a day with just us two and talk about things plus I figured Clara was probably busy with Quinn" I explain
"yeah true, I'm just glad she has someone that treats her well especially since she's a little shy and will kinda let people walk all over her" she says
"yeah I agree I mean I love her we both do but I feel bad because in her past relationships, she always got hurt and let people treat her like shit because she was too scared to say anything or cause issues" I tell her
"yeah totally, can we go to in-n-out and get shakes?" she asks
"uh duh" I laugh
"ok well while we drive tell me what you've been up to even tho we saw each other yesterday" she asks me
"honestly just the usual shit, emails, phone calls, meetings and I have all next week to be able to chill and relax before the tour, they originally were only giving me this week but then decided to let me have next week also since we are all gonna be busy doing stuff together this week" I explain
"well that's good I'm glad your team did that and understood that this is important for you" Delilah says
"yeah me too" I say
I pull into in-n-out and go through the drive-thru
"what do you want?" I ask her
"I'll get a vanilla shake" she replies
"hi yes can I get 2 vanilla shakes" I tell the worker
she tells me how much it is and hand the money to her.
a few minutes later she hands us our shakes, I thank her and we drive off.
"ok so what have you been up to Miss de" I laugh
"honestly nothing I've just been busy with work but that's pretty much it, luckily I was able to get this week off since they had someone available to replace me" she tells me
"yeah that's good, where do you work again I forgot?" I ask
"a record store like 10 minutes from my house" she says
"omg cute I love that, I should stop by one day" I tell her
"you honestly should, we all know how much you love vinyl" she laughs
"That would be so fun, this is random but I think I might try to go on morning walks or something. I feel like it would be very therapeutic for me plus it would help me stay fit" I explain
"thats a great idea actually, I feel like you're the type of person to do that" she jokes
"I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or what..." I shake my head laughing
"I mean that in a good way, I was just messing with you, but for real you should try it and see how you like it, that could be good for you especially with the crazy life you live it might be nice to go outside and just take a walk with the breeze every so often" she says
"yeah you're right I think I'll try it soon I'm not sure when yet" I tell her
"ok good, now let's head back to my place and chill for a little bit before you go back home and we have to get ready for that dinner tonight" she reminds me
