puck love || the mighty ducks

chapter 1: The new kids

   "today's the day, new friends and a new team everything will be okay" i tell myself as i was braiding my hair. when i got done i went down stairs for breakfast all i saw was my dumb short brother ''how come your up so early'' i tell him while grabbing some cereal '' don't you remember we gotta be at the rink in 45 minutes" he reminds me "IN 45 MINUTES" i said almost dropping my cereal "yeah so were gonna get ready in about 10 and leave in 20" After breakfast i went straight upstairs to get ready.
  After about 20 minutes it was time to go. once we got there a man named Mr. Tibbles told us to go straight onto the ice and apparently there were 4 more new kids. i really thought we were gonna be the only ones.
  Finally the guy Mr. Tibbles started introducing us "that's Luis Mendoza a real speedster, incredible skater, i clocked him 2.9 seconds blue line to blue line but has one little problem" Mr. Tibbles said and right when he said that Luis hits the boards. me and all the new kids skated to try to help him up and he said " i'm okay,i almost had it that time"  after all that Mr. Tibbles started talking again. " There's Julie the cat Gaffeny she won her team in main 2 years in a row" after Mr. Tibbles said that coach was going on and on about how they already have a goalie but Julie proved him wrong by catching every puck that got shot at her, there was even one that got shot at full speed and she .
  After all that it was finally our turn but of course he had to introduce Kenny first "there's ken wu" he said "i convinced him that hockey had a better future and we put a stick in his hands and nobody has been able to touch him well everyone except his sister AJ wu. she has been one of the best players in her age divsion in hockey, baseball and gymnastics" i was pretty happy when he said i was one of the best players but i dont know if its true or not but its whatever. You can hear everyone talking about us but we didnt mind. then we start hearing a kid singing and his name was dean portman and he did not look like a teenager and when he started to skate coach said "is that guy a teenager" looking confused "yep hormones" then he kept on singing and pushing all the ducks down then called me "princess" who even says that but im not surprised because he called julie "sweetheart" like bruh who do you think we, your maids. " there's Carolina rosas, rosas is a little slow but a really good defender" Mr. Tibbles said.
  why is there so many kids like there wasnt this many kids on my old team but yet again my town was small so i could see why there wasnt as many kids as there are here i say to myself. when i thought mr.tibbles was done he had one last player "thats dwayne robertson best puck handler ive ever seen, a little bit of a showboat but an amazing player" mr.tibbles said. when he finished coach let us talk for a little bit before we started practice just so we could get to know each other a little bit more of course i started to talk to ken because he was the only one I knew. the only reason why i know bella was because me and her did hockey together since we were 5 then when we were 8 she moved to LA cause her mom wanted the best for her.
  And how i knew Carolina cause we did hockey together since we were 5 so when we figured out we were both invited she basiclly moved with us to minnesota and me and her are on the same team and in at the same school so we have been friends for a long time.
  when we were talking i was really thirsty so went to go to the locker room to go get my water bottle and while i was in there this kid goes in there and comes up to me and says "Hi im charlie conway 12 year old non smoking leo i like pizza, hockey, and music. what about you?" in a light voice while putting his hand out "hi im Aidynn wu AJ for short, siblings with ken wu, im 11 about to turn 12 in a month im a non smoking pisces i also like pizza, hockey, and music and it was nice to meet you" i say shaking his hand.
  when we started walking back we were just mostly talking about how it was like to live in colorado and minnesota and when we got back the whole team started fighting " do you know what happened?'' i say questioning everything that was going on " no i thought you would have" he replies then coach blows his whistle and yells " hey we didnt come here to fight we came her to play hockey now insted of fighting were gonna scrimmage so lets scrimmage" he says as he blows the whistle.
  we got into our positions and  heard dwayne and one of the ducks fighting i think he was one of the enforcers, he kinda looks a little small to be a enforcer but i cant judge i mean have you seen my brother anyways dwayne said "its a good day to play hockey aint it" it was kinda funny to see him being friends with the ducks i dont know why but it was "it sure is cowboy" the enforcer said, im pretty sure his name is jesse but im not for sure then jesse got shoved to the ground once coach blew the whistle, what great enforcer he is i say to myself.
  the ducks were a little rusty, even coach said they were "werent you guys training in the off season" he said to one of the ducks "i knew we forgot something" the duck said chugging his water  "averman" coach said. his name is averman i knew it im getting good at knowing my teammates names. after a little bit of fighting each other for the puck this kid named fulton reed got the puck and every duck skated as fast as they could saying "look fulton" or "watch out for fulton" or even "look out for fulton. none of us knew what they meant and dean said "what a bunch of wussy" i still didnt know what was going on so stood there in confusion until charlie yelled to me "AJ watch out fulton might hit you" so skated to him and told him"thanks as i see fulton hit the puck as hard as he could and hit the pole then go everywhere then hit mr.tibbles "oo that must of hurt also thanks for saving my life" i tell charlie as we skate to see if mr.tibbles is ok "yea no problem i didnt want to see any of our new teammates get hurt already" charlie says. i started to smile and i felt my face get red, am i starting to like him? no,yes,no? i barley met this kid like an hour ago i mean but he was cute and kind, stop it AJ you dont really know this kid give it time i fight with myself quietly. once we got to where mr.tibbles was we put him on a chair a made me hold an ice pack onto his head. a woman was with him when it happened and kept saying his name untill he woke up then she said " sorry let me introduce myself, im michelle mckay the team tutor" shaking coaches hand "hi im coach bombay there coach" he says smiling "who said we needed a tutor" one of the ducks said, i think thats adam banks but im not sure. after complaining for a minute or two goldberg the goalie said "now ms.mckay were americas team shouldnt we be only focusing on hockey" everyone agreed with him then she said "well thats not a bad idea" "call me goldberg" "GOLDBERG, yes school will be optional" she continued everyone started cheering "wait hold on hold on f you dont attend you should not be eligible to play" she finished. everyone smiles turned into frowns but we had to move on. After practice coach let us play around and we even started dancing but after that he was assigning us to our rooms and who we will be staying with "First up the kids that will be staying in the medium size room will be Goldberg,ken, dwayne, and luis" coach says while all of them are high-fiving "next for the small room will be futlton and dean" thank goodness he didnt say my name i say to myself " the kids that will be staying in the other medium size room will be averman, jesse, and adam" coach continued. that means im in the last room "okay then in the last and in the biggest room will be charlie, AJ, connie, guy, and Carolina. get along with each other, here are your guys keys and dont kill each other" coach finished while all of us were walking out. while we were all walking to the dorm charlie and guy kept on fighting to have the key so i thought it would be funny to jump on in so i run and jump over charlie and grab the key "HEY" they both say "sorry i had to plus were already here" i say opening the door. when we got settled in we decided to invite the whole team over.we played game,ate food, and eventually we all fell asleep. i guess my new team wont be as bad as i thought it would be.
