"Hey, hey, hey! Show me your spirit, villain!" a boy shouted, swinging his toy sword threateningly in the air.

"Please, put it down first. It's really dangerous, do you hear me?" Izuku pleaded, holding up both his hands with open palms to show his surrender.

But the boys surrounding him remained hostile and merciless.

"Why are you hesitating, you coward?!"

"We want to fight! I'll beat you up! Don't hold back!"

"Show us! Show us your Full Cowl already!"

They threatened Izuku with their toy weapons, circling around him like sharks in the sea aiming for their prey.

'This is bad,' thought Izuku, sweating. He felt like he had encountered the evilest villains since he started being a hero.

Of course, he had performed with his quirks for kids every morning. It was enjoyable and meaningful—as long as their parents were watching.

But on some evenings—like this situation—when their parents hadn't arrived yet and teachers were busy helping kids find their missing belongings, some boys turned into angry monsters with greedy, mad, glittering eyes and insane drooling—no longer seeming human.

"I know you all are better than this. I'm also willing to play hero with all of you! But I don't think good heroes have dangerous things like that." Izuku offered, only to be interrupted.

"Shut up, villain! If you don't move first, we will!"

Just as they were about to pounce on Izuku like mad dogs—

"Interesting."

A chilling voice came through from somewhere not too far, followed by a small, sparkling sound. It was obvious who it was without looking.

"I had no idea there were some idiots wanting to see what a true villain was like, huh?"

A man approached them with heavy, ominous steps, visible sparks popping out threateningly from his hand. The glint in those bloody red eyes had never seemed so cold.

"Go ahead, brother. Just eat them up. I bet their moms and dads wouldn't mind in this case." A little girl cackled in his the other arm, her head shrinking and poking out from her shoulder repeatedly, maybe to add a scary effect to their appearance.

The atmosphere—the growling sound, the faint scent of smoke, and the cold gaze Katsuki directed toward them were enough to make him look like a real villain—a villain who really hated children, even though he was in his hero costume now.

"Kacchan!" Izuku's watery eyes shone as he looked toward him, while the overwhelmed boys stepped back instinctively, inching away from that threatening figure, sweating like piglets in a slaughterhouse.

"Just step out one by one, Goblins." Katsuki growled, smriking. "I'm gonna burn you all up like grilled pork—!!"

With a yell, an explosion finally burst out into the air loudly.

"Really, really thank you, Kacchan! I was really confused about what to do," Izuku sighed in relief, watching the boys run towards the cars around the gate, which likely meant their parents were arriving.

"You don't need to treat them like civilians. Boys at that age are just brainless brats," Katsuki sneered, putting Tatami down on the ground.

Izuku smiled reluctantly at the advice, and Katsuki ignored it. Of course, both of them knew that Izuku couldn't do that.
