Lost (Hayes Grier fanfic)

Chapter One

Hayes POV

"Boys!" My mom yells

"And Skylynn" Skylynn jumps on every stair as she goes down.

"What." Nash says laughing.

"What's up?" I say laughing also.

My mom looks at us strangely then smiles "We are going to have a guest. She is basically going to babysit. And also live here. Be kind with her until she gets used to us." My mom says.

" Why does she need to get used to us?" Nash asks.

" Lets just say that she came from a bad place, and a bad past." My mom says sadly. "She's 15, turning 16. I saw a picture of her. She's very pretty." My mom winks at me. I laugh rolling my eyes, playfully.

"Can we invite the boys over?" Nash asks.

"Thats a good idea have 'em stay so she can meet them." My mom suggests. Nash and I nod .

I go up stairs and hop in the shower. Once I get out I dry and style my hair. Then get a nice shirt and jeans on pulling on some random shoes, lastly I put cologne on . I go downstairs and look in the mirror.

All the boys are here , they look at me.

"Why are you all dressed up?" Carter asks.

  "A girl is coming to live with us. She's his age." Nash teases.

"Shut up." I laugh and then there is a knock at the door.

I go to it and open the door. She's beautiful. Medium length hair , it's and auburnish (is that even a word?!??!) Brown hair. He eyes are the type you can get lost in. She's very skinny seems like where she came from , they didn't feed her much. She rocks it though.

"U-um I'm Ashlynn" she mumbles.

" I'm Hayes." I smile, welcoming her in. Why am I being so...mushy?

    She sees Skylynn and smiles a little.

"Hi what's your name?" Ashlynn asks Sky.

"Skylynn." She smiles wide

"Cool!! My name is Ashlynn." She responds.

  I notice the boys staring at her.

"Do you wanna play princess?" Sky asks

"I would be delighted." Ashlynn bows laughing.

"Boys! Will you play?" Sky asks.

They all agree, including me. Sky runs up stairs dragging ashlynn behind. Ashlynn is laughing lightly. Her phone falls from her pocket I catch it before it hits the ground. She smiles at me as I hand it back to her.

     Not even twenty minutes after we play princess , sky decides to do random stuff basically.

  Ashlynn does a back bend and everyone clabs. She's does a flip out of it. Everyone claps including me.

"You're cool." Skylynn points out.

"Tank ya." She smiles cheekily.

I wonder why she is trusting us so soon. I mean with a rough past you'd think she'd be scared. I'm happy she's not. None of us will hurt her. I don't know how anyone could. She's so sweet and bubbly. I'm happy that I got fixed up and dressed nice for her arrival. First impression right? Why do I care so much? I smile lightly as she plays with Sky. I look at Nash who looks like he is planning something. Then he tickles Ashlynn. She laughs , which is adorable, until her face turns bright red. She giggles and flips so she can tickle him.

"For a little girl your strong." He laughs.

"Littlee!?!?!?!" She smiles.

Everyone but me and Sky agree

"Not little." She rolls her eyes.

   She sits by me. Ruffles my hair and plays with it.She has a faint smile on her face. Just enough for me to see. I can already tell I'm going to enjoy her being here.
