Chapter Three

Hayes POV

Harley , Ash's friend ,walks in smiling.

"Hey Dogface." She laughs

"Hey Laredo." She responds with a snap causing everyone to laugh .

Harvey's phone rings, thinking out loud, plays ash sings it . Harley ignores the call looking at Ash.

"Bravo" she claps as Ash sings making Ash laugh

   They begin to dance goofing off , Harley picks ash up, causing ash to squeal giggling. I just sit and laugh.

"Hayyeeeesssss" Ash squeals , I raise my eyebrows.

" I can't help." I smile

"Pleassseeeee" she laughs. As Harley puts her down.

Ash runs over to me fake crying climbing into my lap. I chuckle and stroke her hair.

"Looks like Ashie has a crush" Harley yells running away soon after.

Ash blushing she get up running after her Harley runs back down.

"Help!" She yells at us and the boys take sides, obviously I'm on Ash's.

We all break up and hide, ash grabs my hand and puts a finger over her mouth signaling me to be quiet. She  goes into a room still holding my hand. She grabs Cams arm pulling him into a room.

"Find Nash." She says smiling.

Cam nods and runs to find him.

Ash's POV.

Cam runs and goes to find Nash. I continue to hold Hayes hand. Stepping on something I hold my foot.

"Ouch" I grab my foot.

Hayes sits me down "You okay?" He asks, for the first time I have someone who actually cares.

" It just hurts. " I say looking into his eyes.

He looks at my foot. "It's bleeding." He says looking at it sadly. He picks me up bridal style.

    "Guys pause , she's bleeding." Hayes yells.

Everyone comes to the kitchen.

"What did you step on" Jack J asks.

" Not sure but it hurts." I bite my lip.

Hayes kisses my forehead. "It's Okay." He smiles.

Hayes POV

Next Day, last night everybody went home. I sit in the kitchen and  Ash comes down in a tank top and pajama shorts. She rubs her eyes. She's limping, I sigh.

"Foot still hurt?" I ask

She nods sleepily pouring herself a cup of coffee. Drinking it black , she spits it in the sink.

"Forgot to add stuff."  She continues to try to get the taste from her mouth

"Guessing you hate black coffee" I laugh

" despise." She corrects me "It's gross." She laughs

I nod agreeing she pulls herself onto the counter.

" Do you ever have the sudden feeling to do the Nae Nae?" She laughs laying back so she's looking up at me.

I Laugh "No..."

"You are a liar!" She laughs

"Shut up!" Nash yells.

" I will march my happy self up there and smack you if you yell at me again." She jokes.

I hear Nash groan. I laugh she looks at me smiling.

"What?" I ask laughing.

She shakes her head blushing. I tilt my head looking at her. She begins laughing . I just look at her smiling. She's a morning person.

" Am not." She says

"What?!" I ask.

"I'm not a morning person." She smiles.

"I said that out loud?" I smile as she nods.

She just laughs at me, her eyes get lighter. Truthfully I feel like kissing her right now.

But I don't want to ruin our friendship. We just met too. She's beautiful and stuff and she's sewer but we just met. I shouldn't rush into things. Also I don't know how long she's going to be here, with us. If she's going to leave.

" Hayes?" She sighs.

"Yeah?" I look down at her.

Her eyes tear up. "I-I" she begins to cry.

I panic. "You um y-you what?" She turns to face me, I pull her into my lap. She cries on my chest for a moment. Then pulls away.

"I-I am scared." She admits.

"Of what?" I ask

" This." She looks around then into my eyes.

" Being here" I ask ,She nods . "Why." I say simply.

" My dad kinda has it programmed that, everybody is the same. They are going to hurt me. They don't love me. They are going to hit me. And I know I'm going to end up head over heels with you, even though, I've only known you like a day. But I'm afraid of getting....hurt again." By the end of her saying this we are both in tears.

" Listen..I won't hurt you, none of us will. A real man will never hurt a woman. Your dad wasn't a man. And I feel the same. I know that I'm going to develop feelings for you. But we can take it slow. Not rushing things and when your, we're ready, we can be in a relationship." I say ,she hugs me.

" Can we talk later... actually talk we were supposed to last night but we got..distracted by everything , mostly Harley." She smiles.

" Of course." I laugh.
