Lost (Hayes Grier fanfic)

Chapter Eight

Hayes POV.

I lay in my living room. It's been weeks and I still can't get over Ash. Their car pulls up, she knocks on the door. I look at Nash.

"I can't." I choke.

He nods opening the door I put headphones on. The sad part is that, she joined Magcon. I going to see her everyday for a long time. We are going on tour. She comes in and I notice her eyes are red and swollen, probably a lot like mine. She looks at me and closes her eyes. Tears fall from her eyes, same with me.

Ash's POV

"You guys love each other, just make up. " Nash says. "Hayes usually don't leave his room he cries constantly." Nash adds sighing.

"So does she, she scrolls through old pictures..." JJ  says

"You do."he looks at me,  I nod.

"memories..." I sigh.

he looks down. "I still love you." 

" but "  I look down

"But what." He looks at me.

" You promised me you wouldn't hurt me. But you did." I say. "I'm not ready yet." I nod.

" I'll wait for you." He says.

  -on air plane.

I sit looking at JJ then at Hayes. I sigh leaning back in my seat. Johnson told me he had feelings for me, but so did Hayes I have feelings for both of them.  I sigh tears slipping. JJ comes and sits next to me. He is not supposed to get up. But oh well. He wipes my tears. He hugs me tightly, i sit on his lap, crying into his chest. He sings "Tides" in my ear but a more slow version of it to make it more ballad like.

-At hotel three weeks later.

" Okay Love you too" Hayes says into the phone to some girl named Brit. I guess that's his new girl. I guess you can say I have a small thing with Johnson. Not dating, maybe just close  friends .

"We leave in twenty." Cam says.

"Can I borrow a tank." I ask JJ, loud enough  for Hayes to hear. Hayes looks up sadly. "The blue one with the dark blue pocket." I say

JJ nods and throws them to me, I go and change in the bathroom into his tank, a hoodie Hayes bought me, I know wearing what he got me and jj's shirt,  I wear white shorts with blue vans.

"Tay!" I yell coming from the bathroom. "Light Blue Bandanna?" I ask. He throws it at me. I put it in my hair and smile "Thanks Again." I laugh.I go into the bathroom, not closing the door so the boys can get ready because I'm now just brushing my teeth. Hayes comes in,not even looking at me.

"I'm opening?" I say, nervously.

"Yeah. You'll be great." JJ pauses, "Want me to come out with you." He asks.
Hayes isn't my boyfriend so... "Yes." I nod.

He hugs me and whispers in my ear " Sing." And smiles then going to G. 

Hayes walks up to me "so you and JJ." He asks.

"No. Just friends. But so much for you waiting. You just replaced me." I shrug. "So I can do what ever on want." I shrug, turning away from him.

I go out, surprisingly many people cheer. I wave nervously. JJ comes out, cheering continues.

"Shes a bit nervous." He hugs my side laughing.

"I SHIP IT!" Comes from the crowd. Everyone cheers.

I blush,so does he.

  I pull myself up into the chair and JJ hands me the guitar, I laugh nervously.

  " I'm so nervous." I laugh, the crowd claps and cheers.

I begin: No I can't take one more step towards you.

All that's waiting is regret.

Everyone cheers and I don't doubt this is going to be on YouTube.

"Another?" I say

Everyone cheers in response.

"Shawn come out here." I yell and he comes out and sits next to me.

  I play the tune, 'A Little Too Much' we sing it together. I smile to the girls in the front and we continue singing. They freak out, as we continue singing his song. Which is beautifully written. I love it. )( I do )( we finish.. Everyone comes out.

The girls go crazy, JJ wraps his arms around my waist and smiles.

"You did great." He says.

"Really?" I ask.

He nods and kisses my cheek. Hayes comes over, looking at his arms, which are around my waist. Johnson spins me to face him.

"Get off of her." Hayes says quietly.

" You cheated on me. Remember? " I say.

"Did not." He yells loudly, causing everyone to quiet down.

Next thing you know his lips land on mine. The crowd cheers, Johnson stands in shock.
