In this story we have two main characters, Maeve, and Opal. Each in different masquerades and each with their own problems. Maeve is a part of the 1925 ball and Opal is apart of the ball of 2025.
Vampires in this universe have a twist.
They can walk in the sun. This can make them even more deadly than the rest. However, they can be killed by a stake to the heart. They do have some ability's. The usual ones: strength, speed, healing, etc. But each vampire has one of three traits. They could have either telepathy, mind control, or telekenisis. Though it be rare, some may have the ability to posses more than one power and rise above the rest.
