"John" seemed to dissapear and i couldn't figure out why I had heard whispers before "he" did but I decided

to blow it off. It must have been my imagination. "Oh well," I said after peering behind the tree once more just to me sure. I plopped myself on the bench and waited.

10 minutes had passed and John still wasn't here. I texted him..

"Hey, where r u?"

No reply."Maybe he is just running late," I thaught. He's never usually this late though."

*************

Half an hour had passed before I had sent what seemed like 100 texts and calls, I was starting to worry. I looked around to see if he was at LEAST close but I saw no sight of the 14 year old.

"Damnit!" I said running to his house.

My feet made a stomping sound as they carried my tired legs up his porch steps. I rang the doorbell hoping that his 'rents wouldn't anwser.

************************************

5 longest minutes of my life passed and nobody anwsered the door. I let out a big sigh wondering what else I could do. I turned around and what I saw that day would scar me forever.
