Ah good old New York who ever would have thought that you would have returned back to the city you called home.
Smoke still lingered in the air from the many fires that burned when you left the city during the evacuation all thanks to that alien invasion.
Most of the city was destroyed on the east side anyway, It was chaos trying to evacuate but you are just glad to be home.
You finally arrived safely back to your apartment complex and you were nervous about it because you thought your apartment was going to be destroyed but luckily it's still in one piece.
You can't say the same about your neighbors however they got it worse then you did.
You open the door to your apartment and sigh in relief to see that things were exactly how you left them.
You put your things away and sit at your windowsill and stare out amongst the city's streets seeing people walk by and cars still honking.
Yep it's good to be back in New York City.
