You couldn't stop thinking about that night. The night you and William finally collided and were romantic with one another.

The memory repeated like a mantra in your mind. The heat and sensations would return to your body for a moment before being stripped away.

Like the feeling of his warm mouth wrapped around the skin of your neck.

The mark William gifted you had lasted a while. You did a seemingly good job covering it up for the week it stayed.

You didn't get any weird looks or questions, so you assumed you did fine.

You two were spending time together a lot more. Never in person, but you would both drop everything to speak with each other over the phone.

He had been calling you a lot as of late. Nearly every day, he'd call you after work.

It was quite a cute gesture.

The thought of him had been on your mind often. You didn't think you two were quite official, but you'd have to talk about it with Will.

Even if you weren't, you were content with him crossing your mind.

You were suddenly thrown out of your thoughts for no apparent reason.

You sighed and opened your groggy eyes. Right now, you were curled up in a fuzzy blanket on your couch.

It was around 6:00 pm. Your apartment was cold, and you were bored. Maybe you could call William? He hadn't called yet today.

You sat up and walked over to the landline. Dialing his number, you brought the phone to your ear. It had only rung once before he picked up.

"Hello? Doll?" Your face flushed at the nickname. "Hey Will. I was bored and thought I'd call." He lightly snickered.

"Yeah? If you'd like I could visit?" You hummed in consideration. "What about Mike? Do you think he'd be okay staying home alone?"

"No, no. Micheal's over at his mother's house. I dropped him off not long ago." He assured. "Okay. When can you be here?"

He paused for a moment. "Pretty soon, I'm sure. Do you need time to do anything before I come?"

You took a second to look around your house. It was pretty clean. "No. Whenever you're ready will be fine." You said sweetly.

"Okay. See you soon." A smile crept up onto your face. "See you."

.

You sat up at the sound of a knock at the door. Knowing who it was and being eager to see William again, you hurried to the door.

You pulled the door open and held it for him. "Hey Will. How's life?" You two walked side by side into your living room.

"Good. It's nice to see you again." He said with a smile. You both sat down.

"Yeah. You've been keeping me posted about your life with those daily calls, huh?" You joked with a smirk.

He chuckled. "I can't deny that."

A fuzzy feeling had settled in your chest. It would return when you were with Will.

It wasn't a burden. On the contrary, actually. You enjoyed it. It reminded you of your strong bond.

.

You two stayed like that for a while. Just talking and enjoying the other's presence.

The only time either of you parted was to get the occasional refill of water you grabbed not long ago.
