You were getting ready for William's arrival.
He called you early in the morning, seemingly right before he left for work, asking if he could visit you that day.
You, obviously, agreed.
He said he'd be over by 6 that night. You wanted to be ready just in case something happened.
You stood up from the shower floor and turned it back on.
.
Once you were dressed, you left your bathroom to wait for William.
As you sat on your couch, you couldn't help but think about that night when you and him made out.
He had left a dark purple mark just above the crick of your neck. The collar on your work uniform didn't go up quite enough to cover it, so you had to do that part yourself.
You didn't get any weird looks or questions, so you assumed no one noticed.
Your gaze drifted to look over at the clock that hung just above your landline. Will would be here shortly.
You couldn't wait to bask in his presence once again. Every moment, every second, you spent by his side filled you with warmth and calm.
He was just what you needed to bring a smile to your face. You were giddy for his arrival and were quickly bouncing your leg in anticipation.
Soon, you heard a knock at the door. Recognizing the pattern as William's, you hurried to answer it.
You pulled it open with a smile dressing your face.
"Good evening, dear." He greeted. "Oh, stop being so formal," You replied, the smile dressing your face becoming a wry smirk, "We've known each other for a while now."
He chuckled, "I suppose we have, but that doesn't mean chivalry is dead, love." You snickered.
A warm, fuzzy feeling settled in your stomach.
"Go ahead and sit down," You said, waving him off and heading to the kitchen. "I'll get us both a glass of water."
You heard a faint, polite 'thank you' as well as fading footsteps.
You grabbed two cups and filled them with ice water.
With a soft smile in your face, you caught up with William and sat down next to him.
You set the drinks on the coffee table and looked over to him.
.
Time had gone by quickly as you were talking. The positive aura filling the room was comforting.
You loved talking with William. Don't get me wrong, but you soon were bored with that.
Not in a sense that your conversation was dry, but in one that, you wanted to do something a little different..
You slid your hand closer to his thigh, making your way up it. You also brought your body closer to him and laid your head on his shoulder.
He stifled a laugh and brought his arm around your waist, then rubbed circles into your back.
You were slightly frustrated, but maybe he just didn't want to do anything like that. You'd respect that.
"Love?" He whispered in your ear, his hot breath ghosted your neck, and you shivered.
"Y-yes?" You had to keep your composure. It probably wasn't sexual anyway.
"Are you needy?" He lightly cooed. You were wrong with that last statement.
