❝HE CHOSE TO DIE ONCE HE ATE ALL OF SUKUNA'S FINGERS,❞ Gojo told (Name) once he exited the seal laid upon her cousin. "That's why his execution is suspended."

"Oh, please, don't try to trick me now. I know you did some taunting with the higher-ups to suspend Yuuji's execution," (Name) said, crossing her arms. "I'm still not pleased with the fact he ate that finger..." She added in a whisper, her head lowering.

"Now, now! Don't bow your head like that, it's very out of character of you," her teacher teased, raising her head to look up at him. "We're glad to find another vessel for Sukuna, after all! It's one in a million chance to find someone who can withstand him!"

She swatted his hands away, "I'm aware of that, but why would it be my cousin?" She uttered, not afraid to show her unpleasantries with the situation. "I promised myself to not let him be involved with my former life... Now he's here."

Gojo would be lying if he didn't feel bad. (Name)'s twin adopted children died at the hands of a curse sent by the higher-ups due to the dangers they had. She has lost a lot of loved ones, but seems like fate doesn't want to give her a rest and even included her remaining alive relative in this line of work...

"That's where you enter again," Gojo continued. "Return as a Jujutsu Sorcerer to protect Itadori."

(Name) gave him a knowing stare, "I must decline. I have a great disdain for the higher-ups, I haven't forgiven them for what they did years ago," she retorted. "You're my last resort concerning my cousin's safety..."

Gojo made an annoying ‘touched’ expression, "My dear favorite student still trusts me after all these years... I'm flattered, (Name)!" He exclaimed, enveloping her in a hug. "I'm so happy you still have faith in me!" He added, squeezing her waist.

(Name) looked down at him, visibly concerned about how his head was on the valley of her chest. "Alright, alright. I admit I still have trust in you," she said, pushing him off her. "Does that mean he's bound to stay in the dorms?"

"Yep! With me and the other students!" Gojo replied, snapping his fingers. "We still have your room unoccupied, too!"

(Name) pondered for a moment, trying to evaluate her pros and cons if she was going to follow Itadori. Pros are: she can protect him if he's in danger, she'll still be able to dote on him and provide his other necessary needs, and free meals for the dorm students. Then the cons are: there's a great chance she sees a higher-up and alerts his colleagues, she might do what she did before (killing a higher-up), and she needs to leave her college (along with her Makeup shop) to focus on Yuuji's well-being...

Gojo's arm around her shoulder interrupted her thoughts, "If you're worried about the expenses, leave it to me! I'll cover for it!" He assured. "So what do you say? Are you going to return as a Jujutsu Sorcerer?"

————————————————

"So you agreed on returning to Jujutsu society, but declined to be a Jujutsu Sorcerer again?" Itadori questioned as he and (Name) walked to the hospital. "Why not also return as a Jujutsu Sorcerer?"

"I don't like the higher-ups nor their decisions out of nowhere. In short, they're brainless old men with unstable leadership," she replied, obviously not giving Itadori her honest answer. "Let's not continue talking about this subject. It only brings unpleasant memories in my head."

Itadori gave a nod, understanding his cousin's condition. Speaking of her teenage years, (Name) never really told him about her time during his age (he's 15, turning 16). It's still clear in his head how she entered his life—fresh from Junior High School as she stepped inside his home, a smile etched on her face and a certain twinkle in those wine-colored eyes...

"Do you have a question?" (Name) asked, interrupting his thoughts. "Let's play a game though. I'll give you two truths and one lie, you decide what's true."

"Oh!" Itadori beamed, liking the conditions. "You first?"

She nodded, "Of course... Let's see," she said, placing a hand under her chin. "I have killed a man, I won't hesitate to kill again, and I hate you. Now, tell me what's the lie?"

Her cousin had a fearful expression, "I don't like this game anymore..." He whimpered, almost backing away from her.

(Name) chuckled, "I won't push you into answering it, don't worry. I can wait until you have the guts to answer such a ‘ridiculous’ question," she assured. "But I can assure you, I'm not lying nor joking with you."

His reaction made her giggle since he always thought she was some saint (she's not) with great skills at flirting. He could consider she hates him, but her doting and everything says otherwise. But then again, in his eyes, he couldn't imagine his cousin killing someone...

"We're here," she said, looking at the opened hospital door. "Come on. Now talk to your seniors," she encouraged, pushing him near it.

Sasaki looked up to see her junior. "Itadori."

Itadori entered the room, "How's Senior Iguchi doing?" He asked, looking at his other senior lying on the hospital bed—still unconscious.

"The doctor said he's fine, but he hasn't regained consciousness yet," Sasaki replied. She started to tear up as she continued, "It's my fault for asking him to go at night... I don't think you'll believe me, but strange monsters were attacking us and I got caught too."

"I believe you," Itadori assured. "But they're not monsters, they're curses. That finger is called the ‘Special Grade Curse’. It's capable of attracting other curses and making them stronger. So, both of you did nothing wrong."

His grip tightened on the railings of the bed, "I'm the one who picked it up I'm sorry, but don't worry," he assured. "The person who can cure Senior Iguchi will arrive tomorrow."

     "Itadori..."

"I'm sorry, Senior Sasaki," he apologized once more. "I have somewhere to go now."

Once Itadori left for goodbyes, (Name) entered the room with a smile. "I assume you and my dear Yuuji have done talking, yes?" She asked, approaching Sasaki. "I'm his guardian and cousin, (Name) Kafka. He has told me a lot of things about your activities and I must say, it's quite fun if it wasn't for the curses from yesterday."

*Crack.*

(Name)'s pearl earring (the talisman sealing her cursed energy) had a visible crack on it as she was now face to face with Sasaki. The Senior had a confused expression on what was happening until the wine-colored hair woman raised her fingers—strings bearing the same color as her hair appeared...

"Spirit Whisper," she said, controlling Sasaki. "You will not remember what happened yesterday. Your classmate only hit his head too hard yesterday night when you took the finger and you rushed him into the hospital..."

"Yes..." Sasaki nodded, staring blankly at (Name).

The older female gave a smile, "Now, go sleep."
