Zoro stared at his locker, frustration building within him as he struggled to get it open. He had always been terrible with locks and keys, and he cursed himself for forgetting the combination yet again.

"Need some help?"

Zoro turned to see a girl with long, dark hair standing next to him. She had a slight smile on her face as she extended her hand towards him, holding a piece of paper with the locker combination written on it.

"Yeah, I could use some help," Zoro muttered, feeling a bit embarrassed. He took the paper from her and quickly punched in the numbers, relieved when the locker door finally swung open.

"Thanks," he said, giving her a small nod of gratitude.

"No problem," she replied, her smile widening. "I'm Robin, by the way."

"Zoro," he introduced himself, closing his locker and slinging his backpack over his shoulder. "Thanks for saving me from the embarrassment of having to ask the teacher for a new lock."

Robin chuckled, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Glad I could help. So, do you need help finding your first period? I could show you the way if you want."

Zoro hesitated for a moment before nodding. He was new to this school, having just transferred a week ago, and he had been struggling to navigate his way around. He couldn't refuse the offer of assistance, especially from someone as kind as Robin.

"Sure, that would be great," he said, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Lead the way."

As Robin led him through the bustling hallways, Zoro couldn't help but notice how effortlessly she blended in with the crowd. She seemed to know everyone, exchanging greetings and smiles as she walked. Zoro, on the other hand, felt like a fish out of water, still trying to find his place in this new environment.

"So, where did you transfer from?" Robin asked, breaking the silence as they turned a corner.

"Another school across town," Zoro replied, his voice slightly distant. "I just moved here a few weeks ago."

Robin's eyebrows furrowed slightly as she glanced at him. "Must be tough, starting fresh in a new school. Is there anything I can do to make it easier for you?"

Zoro blinked at her, surprised by her genuine offer. He didn't think he had met anyone quite like her before. Most people in high school were focused on their own lives, rarely thinking about anyone outside of their social circle.

"I appreciate the offer, but I'll be okay," Zoro replied, his tone softening. "I'm used to being on my own. Plus, I'm pretty good at finding trouble, so I'm sure I'll make some friends along the way."

Robin chuckled at his response, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "Well, I'm here if you ever need someone to show you the ropes. High school can be tough, but it can also be a great place to make lasting memories."

Zoro nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. He had a feeling that Robin would be someone he could count on, even if it was just as a friendly face in the crowd.

As they reached his classroom, Zoro turned to Robin and grabbed a piece of paper from his bag, scribbling down his phone number.

"Here," he said, handing her the paper. "In case you ever want to hang out or something."

Robin's smile widened as she took the paper, her eyes sparkling with gratitude. "Thanks, Zoro. I'd love to hang out sometime."

With one final nod, Zoro stepped into his classroom, feeling a sense of comfort wash over him as he settled into his seat. High school might not be as bad as he had initially thought, especially if he had friends like Robin by his side.
