Appearance

Akahana is around the tall side for her age of fifteen, with a ghostly pale skin tone. She is quite curvaceous and slender, usually remarked to hold herself in a 'delicate, fragile' way. Despite that, Akahana has also been noted to be well-built and stronger than people's first impression of her. She has long hair that reaches to her hips, and styles her bangs to the right. She also has two golden hairpins which she wears in a cross on the right side of her head.

Akahana's hair is a rare combination of black to red ombre. It is a completely black shade until her neck, where it starts to lighten and gradually fades to red by the time it reaches her shoulders. Her eyes are cherry red, tilted upwards like a cat's, and framed with long lashes.

Hero Costume

Her Hero Costume is simple. Initially consisting of a long-sleeved black shirt, equally dark leggings, the materials of the shirt similar to the one used for Midnight's costume in order for Akahana to utilize her Quirk better, and a pair of combat boots. Later, changes were added, such as the flip knife strapped to her waist.

Personality

Akahana's original personality was silent and bordering apathetic due to the trauma and abuse she underwent as a child. She prefers to stay withdrawn and away from everyone, even from her adoptive family. Akahana also detests her own Quirk, using it only when necessary.

Akahana barely ever speaks to anyone, and if she does, she talks in an aloof and distant manner. However, after joining U.A and realizing she would need to communicate in order for tasks and practical assessments, Akahana spoke up a bit more, but still talked quietly and detachedly. Because of her silence and outlook to life, Akahana has a habit of speaking almost robotically, answering people with an almost completely formal behavior.

Having been abused in every aspect, mentally and physically, by both her parents, Akahana has severe disorders and mental illnesses, along with physical scars to show on her body. With all of this, it meant her guardians would have to keep an eye on her almost 24/7 because of how  mentally unstable she is. Most of Akahana's classmates, however, are unaware of this.

Quirk

Quirk : Fire Blood

Explanation

Akahana's Quirk enables her set anything on fire with her blood, a fire that could last even longer than normal fires even when there is no fuel, on any surface. However, the one major downside is that the fire can only be lit once the blood exits the body and makes contact with something solid, meaning that Akahana loses more blood everytime she activates her Quirk continuously.

Akahana's skin has a natural resistance to her flames, but only to a certain degree. If she is standing in the fire for too long, or too much is on her, then Akahana is just as vulnerable to her own Quirk as others are.
