if you could, would you?

It's been 10 years. I left PK academy in my junior year to start my college, graduating early was tough especially cause it felt like I was stuck in a circle. I never thought I'd be able to leave PK for awhile, until I met one of my classmates friends. His name was saiki kusuo. He had pink hair and felt the same way I do about people. We got along fairly well, but when we got to junior year I got accepted to the same college his brother goes to.

*10 years ago the acceptance letter just got finished being read*

Me: mom...I got in!
Mom:SWEETIE I can't believe it!
Dad. Wow hun, well what are you waiting for go tell your friends.

*text from saiki*

Ku: hey come to the school, I have something to tell everyone.
Me:I do too! I'll see you in a bit!

He smiled and asked me to go first when we all got there, they all congratulated me. He patted my shoulder and said that he was just gonna thank everyone for their kindness and patience. After we all headed home and I started packing. I'd be sleeping in the same dorm as saikis elder brother. I knew him a little but he always seemed busy so I never spoke to him more than a few sentences. But it didn't matter, cause once I got there I was taken care of like family for kusuke. We'd get lunch every day, talk about class and work. He'd even come back home with me and wed see our families. It was a wonderful school life. Until I graduated, I got my PHD thanks to all the hard work and kuskues help with studying. I headed home to take care of my parents for a while and do easy walk-in clinc work for a few years.

*present day*

Mom: Sweeite? Are you going in today?
Yn:yeah, the other doctor called in.
Mom:it's weird that doctors get sick
Yn:I mean we are around sickness all the time, but he wasn't sick. He wanted to spend the last day of summer with his kids.
Mom:speaking of kids...
Yn:Mom, please not today.
Mom:ok, but kusuke said he was coming over after work tonight with his brother. So make sure you're on time.
Yn:course.

I got on my bike and rode to work. As I parked I got some dirty looks from a woman in an suv. I smiled and nodded as I unlocked the clinic doors and held it for her and her kids. Looked like one of them was about to vomit. I nodded at the nurse as I headed to the back. The news was playing on the TV in the patient room I was in.

Tv: he is said to have silver hair and tattoos on his arms and face. And his accomplice has purple hair and glasses. They are still at large, if you see anything please call....

Then walked in my first patient. The woman with the nasty looks.

Woman: ...youre a doctor?
Yn:yes, and you're the parent. So what's wrong with mr...Liam?
Woman:...we just got back home from vacation and he hasn't stopped throwing up since yesterday.

I looked him over and said he had food poisoning on top of the plane ride it didn't help anything. They left and I saw a few more people as the news went on, talking about how the two men at large ended up being a kidnapping situation. The silver haired one kidnapped the purple hair one and was forcing him to be muscle, an eye witness told the police about how he kept apologizing and begged the lady to play dead so his kidnapper didn't get mad.

As the day came to an end the two were still running, the cops hadn't been able to catch them, I listened as I cleaned up and sent my nurse home. I locked the front and was about to lock the back when it burst open with the two men from the news. The purple haired one was loosing blood quickly and the silver haired one looked angry and pointed a gun at me.

Kaido: fix him or die.
Yn: over here, lay down up here. Do you need help?
Aren:n..no I'm..I can do it
Yn:ok. You, silver hair lock that back door and grab those scissors.
Kaido:what do I look like your nurse?
Yn:two hands and an attitude? Yeah. Quickly now.

He set the gun down and I heard the TV keep telling about these two in my back room, I knew it was them now. They had photos plastered on the TV. But right now this man on this makeshift operating table had a bullet in him and needed it out.

Kaido:WELL what's happening?
Yn:shut up and hand me the plyers.
Kaido:I have a gun.
Yn:and I have your friends life in my hand. Really wanna play this game?
Kaido:...here.
Aren:doc...I uh..can I have some meds or something?
Yn:yeah....um after ok? You gotta get through this. But here, you silver hair there's some secrete rum under that sink over there
Aren:rum?
Yn:it's my nurses, when she stays late she likes to drink it.
Kaido:sounds like my kinda girl.

Aren drank some and felt a little better. I got the bullet out and sewed him back up and cleaned him up. It was getting late and I had to get home before mom started to call me worried.

Yn:stay here for the night, I have to get back.
Kaido:oh I don't think so.
Yn:get off me. I helped you. I don't need my mom worrying and I have to get back before her guests get upset.
Kaido:well we will be your guests then. I'm not staying in one place for too long and you know that we can't get far now since he's hurt so you can tell the police.
Yn:why not let him go? He's your hostage, why keep him for this long?
Kaido:....just go.
Yn:well I'm on a bike so you're gonna have to find another way. Cause I'm only letting purple hair on my bike.
