dinner

Well kaido didn't seem to care that it was a motorcycle. He squished himself behind aren. I got home and saw kusuo outside waiting for me.

Yn:ku! How are you?
Kusuo:hey, oh hi shun, aren.
Yn:you know them?
Ku:you don't remeber? They were in school with us. They were part of that group
Yn:oh...I guess my memory of back then is a little foggy, honestly I kinda only remeber you and that one guy...oh I don't remeber his name.
Ku:so you guys joining for dinner then?
Kaido:course!
Aren:uh yeah...

We all went in and kusuke was already setting up plates. Kusuo rolled his eyes at his brother and I joined helping him. My parents in the kitchen calling my name, the other guys sat in the livingroom and talked.

Mom:you brought guests?
Yn:oh yeah...they are from high-school haven't seen them since I left.
Dad:oh well that's kind of you. Um sweetie, we had a request tonight which might be brought up but we don't want to surprise you during dinner itself.
Kusuke:I wanted to ask you on a date.
Yn:a...what? Wait what?
Kusuke:I asked your parents if they'd have an issue with it and they said no. I've had feelings for you since you got your masters degree and we celebrated your accomplishment....but I hadn't wanted to interrupt your career or schooling so I waited.
Yn:you...waited for me?

I agreed to the date, I had a crush on him my entire college life but he never seemed interested in anyone or anything except his work and his family. We sat at the table where kusuo looked annoyed at his brother, I knew about his brothers special powers and I've had a necklace made to stop him from reading my mind. But I do forget about kusuos powers sometimes.

Ku:so when are you leaving kusuke?
Kusuke:oh not for another year actually....im..planning on sticking around.

They both looked at me with a blush on my face. Then I looked and saw aren sweating, he was getting worse.

Yn:dad can I talk to you in the kitchen?
Dad:hmm? Now?

I explained to my father what had happened, he asked if I needed police and I told him I'd rather just get the guest room ready. So I did. But when I offered aren to spend the night, saying that he didn't look so good kaido said hed stay too and took the guest room. I put aren in my room to keep a better eye on him. The night ended and I'd be going on a date with kusuke tomorrow night.

I have a king size bed so I wasn't worried about sharing,I was worried about him bleeding or kaido disturbing my parents. In the morning kusuo was at my bedroom door.

Ku:the police will stop chasing kadio and aren. If you'd like I can heal him.
Yn:you can only do it a day before. He just needs rest and some meds maybe. But...whyd you let kaido go? He hurt alot of people.
Ku:he's not let go. He's just off the polices radar. I'll have him punished, but first I have to get him out.
Yn:thanks ku, you're the best.
Ku:i...I want to warn you...about my brother.
Yn:what is it?
Ku:hes...he's obsessed with having a mini me. He wants my powers to play and understand. I...I heard him talking about settling down just so he can see if he can pass my powers down.
Yn:oh...thank you, ku. I appreciate it.

I shut my door, I could hear kaido yell obcinites at kusuo but he left my home. Aren however was looking a little worse. I sat by him the whole day forgetting about myself and the day completely, luckily the clinic was closed for the next 3 days. It started getting late and my mom walked in.

Mom:hun? Kusuke will be here in an hour.
Yn:oh gods I forgot! Ok he needs these meds at 10pm and make sure he drinks some water and some soup. I'll be in the shower.

I heard my mom as I got out of the shower, she told my dad that they both wished I'd settle down with kusuke. How they wanted me to be happy with another person and they loved having him around. The thought of settling down with him actually made me super happy, the idea of him hurting our future children scared me...but I wasn't sure if that was even true. I got dressed and kusuke waited for me outside.

Kusuke:hey, you look beautiful. Ready?

He handed me a single rose, knowing that I don't like a whole bouquet for non special occasions. We went to dinner, a movie, and a walk in the park. At the dinner he asked about my family, things he kinda knew but I assumed wanted to know deeper details. Then at the movie he just held my hand, when we left he asked what kinda movies I found appropriate for kids. Then by the time we got to the park he told me he wanted to keep seeing me, that he saw a future with me and asked for another date.
