"Mr. Tomlinson."

Louis' head snaps up from where it laid on his desk, his temples throbbing from the massive hangover he's suffering from. "Sorry what did you say?" He blurts out, rubbing at his eyes as he tried to regain focus.

Zayn's eyes narrowed and he taps the desk he's standing next to. "Late night Tomlinson?" The demon questioned and Louis held back a groan, fighting the urge to squint from the light. "You could say that." He responds, trying his hardest not to look at the dark warlock whose eyes were burning into him.

"Well would you be so kind to demonstrate what we've been talking about in class today, or were you not listening?" Louis glances at Niall who discreetly mouthes elements before turning back to his trainer.

"No, I can demonstrate, I was listening." He lies, clearing his throat before he stands from his chair. He walks to the front of the class confidently and stands in the center of the platform, facing the table holding two glass vases. The vases contained a piece of the four elements except air and Louis assumed he had to display his ability to manipulate them. It was a simple task for a bloodline warlock to complete but he knew Zayn was trying to prove a point.

Louis held out his hand with his palm facing the ceiling and his eyes focused on the first vase containing water, his fingers curled in and the water rose, twirling into a thick strand as it hovered in the air. He flickered his eyes to the vase holding the sticks of wood and snapped his fingers, the sticks breaking in half.

He moves his hand manipulating the water until it was above the vase holding the sticks. He whispered, "Incendo," The sticks lit on fire, and Louis blew out air from his mouth until the fire grew large enough to tickle the rim of the vase.

He let his fingers uncurl and the water tumbled down until it tangled with the fire burning below, a sizzle surrounding the room as it died out. He smiled and turned, cracking his knuckles before doing a bow. The class clapped and Louis made a move to his seat but Zayn blocked his path. "Very nice Tomlinson. But next time, pay attention in class so you can do a demonstration without your friend helping you."

Louis pursed his lips but nodded, finally walking back to his seat after Zayn stepped aside. He settled back in and folded his arms over his chest, his blue eyes flickering to Harry. The dark warlock was already staring back at him, his lips curled into a low smile.

He winked and pressed the tips of two fingers to his lips before blowing on them in Louis' direction. Louis felt the magical pressure of Harry's kiss on his cheek and the smaller man scowled, trying to fight the blush that he could feel spreading up his chest. He was still reeling over what happened last night and Harry's words played on repeat in his mind.

"..More to us than you choose to believe."

"What are you doing tonight?" Niall asked as the two men walked down the hall to get to their next class.

"Not sure, I'm still hungover as fuck so I might just crash for the night." Louis replies, his head still pounding with a headache he's been trying to fight all day.

"Well Liam Payne is coming over my dorm tonight, we've been partnered together for a project and we're working on it tonight." Niall explains and Louis' jaw clenched, his brows furrowed at the idea of his best friend around Liam. "I wanted to see if you would come, maybe help break the awkwardness?" Niall asks hopefully.

Louis shook his head as they turned the corner, "Absolutely not, you know I don't like the guy."

"But you don't even know him, you say you dislike him because he's friends with Harry."
