And transformed into the dear, lovable, nerdy Max we all know. Kim looked downright gobsmacked and Alix looked like she was going through the five stages of grief in a matter of 5 seconds.

When he finished, he took a deep breath and calmed himself down from the adrenaline that was coursing through his veins. Everyone cheered, apart from Ladybug, who was being a bit sour. She walked up to Chat Noir and tapped him on the shoulder.
Ladybug: Chat Noir, can you come with me please? Now.
Chat Noir looked a bit confused and he turned his head to Carapace, who heard the question and shrugged. He went off to a secluded corner with her. Ladybug then grabbed his arm. Chat Noir, needless to say, was surprised.
Chat Noir: M'lady, respectfully, but what on earth-
Ladybug: Can you stop with this tomfoolery. We're heroes, not babies. Grow up.
At with that, she let go of his arm harshly and stalked away. Chat Noir stood numb there, wondering what did he do to deserve this. Viperion noticed Chat's inner turmoil (cause he's his future babes, why wouldn't he) and excused himself from talking to Juleka.
Viperion: You okay, Chat?
He reached out and touched his arm, but Chat flinched away.
Viperion: Oh, hun... C'mere.
Viperion opened his arms and it took Chat less than a millisecond to jump into Viperion's arms and start crying.
Viperion: Oh, Chat. It's okay. It's all gonna be okay.
Chat Noir, sniffling: You sure?
Viperion smiled and hugged Chat tighter.
Viperion: I know so.
And they stayed there like that for a while. Meanwhile, Rena and Carapace were getting their detective funk on, trying to figure out the drama.

Also, random thought, but does anyone get so annoyed when you're reading a fanfic and the plot is 10000/10 but the grammar is atrocious? I mean, in fanfics the grammar has to make sense, or else it's bye bye for me. Also, I hate it when people use text lingo in fanfics, e.g. 'u' or 'ur'. I just can't. Gives me imaginary hives.
Anyways this did not disturb my sleep. (fOr ThE fIrST time iN FoREVER~)
