OH MY GREAT GOLLY GOODNESS - I DID IT!!! I FINALLY REWROTE THE FIRST FIC I'VE EVER FINISHED!!!
To be honest, I'm very satisfied with how this turned out. Did I postpone it in exchange for Almost One in the Same? Yes. Do I regret it? Somewhat. But hey, that doesn't matter! I got it out!
This was a perfect opportunity to look back at my work from one year ago. Boy, oh boy, is it bad. The original had so many loopholes and was honestly not that great, but that's the beauty in looking back at your old things! It's made me see how much I've improved from a year of being in this fandom.
Big credits to Find the Markers, by the way, especially the Mystery Update - the update that really sucked me into my obsession over this game. Dark Markery took over my life (and still somewhat is - *cough cough* Lilac-Handed *cough cough*), and he's really the reason I joined this fandom at all. The first fanfic I ever managed to finish was because of him, and I owe him that.
Also, I just realized that it's been one year, and you guys still haven't gotten the "backstory" to this fic... Dang it. Once something clears up, I'll make sure to get to work on that. You might think that I'm going to take a break after working on something like this - especially with a deadline - but nope. I can't take breaks; I always end up being active one way or another.
Now that this is over, I can get back to work on other big projects, like Almost One in the Same, A Slight Case of Apeirophobia; the list goes on. The backstory to this fic might take a while to come out, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
A large thank you to my online twin, Originality, for making that blood-crossed deal to rewrite this fic. I wouldn't have done it without you - thanks for making my life worse. (/j /lh /nm) Complete your side of the deal, or your liver will be the one stolen.
Anyways, I can finally work on other things again!!! Expect slow updates, but good content! :DDD
