It was well past midnight and yet Shoyo was unable to fall asleep as his mind was preoccupied thinking of you. He squealed into his pillow every other minute as he replayed the scene in his mind, the moment you became his girlfriend.

It happened only hours ago in the late evening. As always, you looked beautiful and everything that followed sent Shoyo's mind into overdrive. Only now was he beginning to process everything that had happened.

Soon, his face began to hurt from smiling so much. He wondered what you were doing at this very moment. Were you asleep yet? Probably not, you had a bad habit of staying up late, but Shoyo liked that about you just as he did with everything else to do with you.

He began to giggle, and if a demon or ghost was in Shoyo's room right now, they would probably leave out of fear. Shoyo then realised he probably wouldn't fall asleep anytime soon, so he decided to message the only person who really knew about you: Kenma.

There was plenty of people Shoyo would have told about you, but he was positive Kenma would be the only one that wouldn't tease him for his crush on you. But now that you weren't just a crush, Shoyo couldn't wait to let the whole world know.

"Shoyo? What are you doing up?"
Shoyo smiled brightly. "Y/n's my girlfriend!" There was a silence before Kenma spoke.
"Really? What happened?"

Shoyo sqeauled. "It was amazing! I can still hear my heart going thump thump thump!" Even though no one was there, Shoyo still made sure to do the motion of his heart pumping by pushing his shirt out with his hand.

He went on to ramble about the whole thing, not missing out even a single detail.
"Congrats, Shoyo."
"Thanks! I'm so happy."
"Good luck with telling everyone else, though."
Shoyo frowned. "What do you mean?"
"They probably won't believe you."
"Huh?! Why wouldn't they?"
"They'll probably just be jealous because they can't pull like you." At that, Shoyo laughed and so did Kenma.

The next day when Hinata got to practice, he was sure nothing could ruin his mood. He was beaming more than usual and his energy was unmatched.

"Why the hell are you so happy today?" Kageyama asked. He was a little pissed that Hinata won the race so his tone was a little snotty. But finally, this was the opportunity Hinata had been waiting for.

Proudly, Hinata declared his relationship status and what was he met with? A blank face. No emotion. This wasn't totally a surprise as it was Kageyama, but Hinata was expecting some sort of reaction.

"No you don't," he said as he unlocked the door to the club room. Hinata's smile dropped.
"What? Yes I do!" He said.
Kageyama rolled his eyes. "Stop lying."
"I'm not!" He said a little louder.

"Mhm, sure you aren't." Hinata just scoffed and followed him inside, not bothering to try with him again. He was positive that the others would believe him! Well, Hinata had too much faith in his team.

In the gym, Suga also noticed that Hinata had even more energy than usual and that his smile was a lot more giddy and frequent.
"What's got you in such a good mood, Hinata?"

Just as he'd told Kageyama, Hinata proudly told Suga along with the rest of the team. When he did, he was met with a round of laughter.

Hinata's smile dropped once more.
"Oh, come on!" He said, flailing his arms around. "You guys don't believe me either?!"
"Why would we?" Tsukishima told him. "Did you expect us to?"

Hinata paused. He hadn't really given it that much thought. He was just excited.
"B-but I'm telling the truth!"
"Sure you are Hinata!" Tanaka laughed.

Hinata frowned and stomped his foot.
"Why do none of you believe me?!"
"It's like saying flamingo's exist," said Kags.
"They do..." Suga told him.
"They do?"

Hinata shook his head and grumbled. He was getting frustrated. He was desperate for anyone to believe him.
"Takeda!" He yelled. Takeda was startled and had to readjust his glasses.

"W-what is it?" He asked.
"You believe me, right?!" Overwhelmed with the pleading look Hinata was giving him and the others waiting to hear his response, Takeda walked away and hid over near coach Ukai.

This received another round of laughter as Hinata sighed in defeat. There was not a single person who believed him, but then Hinata thought of something. One last hope.
"I can prove it!" He declared.

"Go on then," said Tsukishima.
"I'll be right back!" Hinata dashed to the club room and grabbed his phone to show them your Instagram page and that you followed him back.

Even with this, no one believed him. Noya and Tanaka were more fixated on how hot this "fake girlfriend" of Hinata's was.

"Wow! Look at her—."
"Stop that!" Hinata yelled and grabbed his phone back before Noya could finish his sentence.

Hinata was ready to give up. Even if you were to tell them yourself, he was sure they still wouldn't believe him. They'd probably think he had paid you to lie or something.

And so for the rest of the day, Hinata slouched around and attended his classes in a gloomy mood. He had texted you but there was no response and he was beginning to get worried.

"Why won't she answer," he groaned. He put his phone back in his bag and tried paying attention to class but this didn't work out, he was too upset and yet, he was still determined to prove it.

The anger was fuelling him. Hinata could do it. He could prove you were his girlfriend and then they would all be apologising! This was the only thing that got Hinata through his bad mood. He'd prove it, he was certain of it.
