"I guess we'd better start walking," said James. "Where to?" questioned Jesse. "We have no idea where those twerps are." Meowth was looking around, shielding his eyes from the sun with his hand. "We could ask one of those fancy government looking-men for directions," suggested Meowth."Wha-" Jesse and James looked around. Sure enough there were men who seemed like they were from the government holding a poster of wanted criminals, asking civilians if they had seen them. And of course it was a picture of Jesse, James, and Meowth, and it wasn't a good picture either.
"Oh no! Not now! We don't even have our motorcycles to escape on!" whisper-yelled Jesse. "Let's hide!" suggested Meowth. "Good idea!" They disappeared around a corner and hid behind the Pokemon Center. "We can't stay here James. They're going to find us soon enough.." Jesse seemed to have less excitement in her voice than usual. "They're searching for us everywhere, Jesse. Fleeing the Sinnoh region won't help us very much."
" Huh? What do you mean this is the Sinnoh region?" asked an unidentified voice. The members of Team Rocket turned their heads slowly to face a young boy with very dark sunglasses. "This can't be Sinnoh, can it? We are in Unova, aren't we?" Jesse and James had checked their gps systems multiple times, and confirmed they were in Sinnoh multiple times. There was even a sign that said "Welcome to Sinnoh" right around the corner.
"Uh, no. This is Sinnoh. You've got the wrong place," retorted Jesse in a better-than-thou voice. "Unova is over there," Jesse threw her thumb back to the direction of the Pokemon Center's back wall. "Ohhh. I thought for sure I was in Unova. Now I have to catch a flight soon, and I don't have any money." The little kid flew off running to the direction Jesse had pointed. Jesse rolled her eyes. James glanced over at her. He had had a crush on Jesse for a while now, but never had the guys to admit it to anybody. He was always stealing glances over at her, just to see what he could have if he just admitted his feelings.
