It was afternoon.

The honeybrown eyes gazed upon the beautiful landscape outside the agencys window. He sat on a soft flattened pillow on a windowsill. A slight hum escaped the hunting dogs throat.

"Hmm..." He thought to himself. Suddenly he heard sly but steady boot stomps directing towards his door, coming closer and closer. Before he could even detect from whom they could be, the door slammed open hitting the wall and leaving a loud bang behind.

"Tecchou! What on gods earth are you doing here slacking off!? Theres an important mission going on!" It was jouno. He was standing in the doorframe with a sassy stance and an angry expression on his face.

"Sorry, I-" "Save it." His words were cut off by his colleagues orotund voice.

"How did you even know I was here?" Tecchou questioned. "Tachihara told me you were gonna take a break, which I cannot accept. That only shows how lazy you actually are. The mission hasnt even properly started yet!" Jouno stepped a bit forward, breaking the distance between them. Tecchou stood up fixing his cape, brushing off the dust.

He mumbled: "Well, I'm still extremely exhausted from yesterday. I took a big hit. Protecting you. For your information."

"Well, thats your job. Protecting your amazing blind colleague, that obviously couldnt tell someones sneaking up on him with all these heartbeats!?" His voice got way higher in a penetrating way. Jouno then turned around swiftly with his hair slightly brushing into his face.

"Come along or I'm punching you."
"Fine. Its not like I have a choice."

Jouno was already a bit ahead of Tecchou but he quickly catched up. He tried walking along quietly, trying not to irritate Jounos sensitive hearing. Out of the blue Jouno stopped.

"Tecchou, calm down. Your heartbeat is getting faster." Jouno spoke in a slightly worried tone. "Really? I feel fine." Tecchou placed his hand on his chest to feel his own heart pumping just a bit faster than usual. Jouno then sighed and just continued marching towards the agencys exit.

Tecchou tried to assure him: "I promise I'm fine, Jouno." "Whatever, its not like I care anyway." He did care but he just brushed it off by flipping his hand behind him hysterically.

As they reached the exit Teruko and Tachihara were already waiting for both of them. Teruko waved and spoke in a high-pitched tone: "Theres our love birds! You two were alone just now, weren't you?" Tachihara shoved his elbow into Terukos shoulder, signalising for her to stop.

Tecchou, standing behind Jouno had a blank expression, not knowing what to say. "Stop calling us love birds! I had to pick up this lazy imbecile because you guys couldnt manage to do so. I hate this. This is pure manipulation!" Jouno was visibly annoyed and in pure distress. He pressed his hands against his hips stomping on the floor.

Why was he getting so worked up over this? Tecchou was just ignoring this whole shipping situation. Maybe because he secretly enjoyed it?No, that can't be. It's probably just because Jouno is a little dramatic like that...
