It had already hit midnight.

Teruko and Tachihara had already left the facility of the mission, leaving Tecchou and Jouno behind. Since Tecchou was already extremely exhausted he just laid down on the floor for a while, staring at the bright flickering ceiling lights.

Meanwhile, Jouno was pampering himself with bandages due to a few injuries. While Tecchou was laying on the floor he mumbled the same phrase over and over. "Im sorry, Im sorry, Im-" "Tecchou, you know I can hear you right? Stop whining while talking to your imaginary friends." Jouno interrupted him, hoping for Tecchou to stop with his ridiculous nonsense.

Tecchou clearly wasnt self aware and wasn't able to listen and just continued muttering: "Im sorry please, Im sorry." Jouno groaned in annoyance and finished wrapping his bandages. As he was done he got up and stomped towards Tecchou. "Can you shut up? Im gonna end up schizophrenic."

Tecchou could feel Jounos annoyed expression piercing onto him and shifted his eyes towards him. He saw the clenched eyebrows and obvious frown on his face. "I-" Tecchou tried speaking but his words were cut off by a heavy kick from Jouno. "Get up you pathetic dirty man." Without hesitation Tecchou stood up and was just inches away from Jounos face.

Jouno could feel the heated short breaths in his face and his colleagues heartbeat was rapidly taking up pace. "Whats wrong? You clearly arent acting like your pathetic self."

Tecchou was acting dazed and started stuttering: "I-Im sorry. P-please forgive me." "What the hell are you talking about? Are you drunk?" Jouno was clearly confused.

Suddenly Tecchou grabbed Jounos arm which was wrapped in bandages and held it tight. "Im sorry I couldnt protect you again. I shouldve paid more attention. Youre right. I-Im lazy and weak."

Jounos face softened and was left speechless, definitely not expecting such sudden emotion. He gathered his thoughts quickly and removed Tecchous hand swiftly. Jouno took a deep breath and hesitated before speaking: "Dont apologize, okay? It happens. Dont worry about it. You did well today."

Jouno hated praising Tecchou but something inside him told him that Tecchou needed this right now. "Lets just go back to the agency, alright?" Jouno now spoke in a very modulated tone.

"Yes." Tecchou whispered. Jouno grabbed his hand impulsively and dragged him along, intertwining his fingers with Tecchous. „You're really annoying, you know that right?" "Yes." Jouno bit his lip holding back another insult.
