Jihoon was literally being kidnapped by his dongsengs. Seokmin and Seungkwan, with their unwavering determination and infectious enthusiasm, had somehow managed to pry him away from his beloved studio. This elaborate scheme was devised to get him to join the music club with them, despite his initial refusal. Jeonghan and Joshua, feeling bored with the mundane club activities devoid of their favorite dongsengs, had planted this idea. Jihoon, forever the responsible one, had repeatedly declined, citing his busy schedule balancing a demanding job and university studies. Yet here he was, bewildered and protesting as Seokmin and Seungkwan, their faces lit with excitement, forcibly escorted him towards the clubroom. "Why am I being dragged into this?" Jihoon exclaimed, his voice a mix of exasperation and confusion.

"C'mon, hyung, you can just cheer for us! Plus, we won't feel as nervous when they evaluate our voices if you're there," Seokmin responded, pouting slightly to display his puppy dog eyes. Jihoon scoffed at the display, internally amused but trying to maintain his usual stern demeanor. He had never encountered such incredible and powerful vocals as those of Seokmin and Seungkwan. Their range, control, and ability to convey emotion through their singing were unparalleled. If these two didn't get selected for the club, it would only mean the club president is utterly blind and lacks any real sense of musical talent. Regardless, Jihoon knew his presence would make a difference, even if he didn't want to admit it out loud.

"Oh, hyung. I heard the Taekwondo club is arranging a showcase next weekend. You wanna go?" Seungkwan asked enthusiastically, his eyes sparkling with excitement at the thought of the event. "Nah, I don't like it," Jihoon shrugged nonchalantly, his disinterest evident in his casual tone. "C'mon, hyung, there will be a lot of hot boys. And you never know, you may find someone attractive," Seungkwan added suggestively, nudging Jihoon with a mischievous grin plastered on his face. "Yes, hyung, let's go," Seokmin chimed in cheerily, his voice upbeat and filled with anticipation. "Don't you already have boyfriends? Maybe you want me to tell them about your little fantasies," Jihoon teased, raising an eyebrow in mock seriousness as he smirked at his friends. "Nope, we're good," they both replied quickly, raising their hands in a mock surrender, their playful banter lightening the mood.

Seokmin and Seungkwan continued to ramble on about some other trivial matter beside him as he found his mind drifting off to the persistent question that kept nudging at his consciousness-do I not like Taekwondo? Internally, he scoffed at himself for even considering the notion. How could he possibly dislike Taekwondo when it had been such a significant part of his life since middle school? It had all started when Soonyoung enrolled in Taekwondo classes. He would watch his best friend train from a distance every afternoon, filled with admiration. Among all his cherished memories, one stood out with striking clarity-the day Soonyoung clinched victory at the spring championship in their final year of middle school. That moment had been etched in his mind ever since, a vivid reminder of his first falling in love with his best friend.
