Later that night just after eclipse, a knock on the side of the Sullys family's mauri was heard

Neteyam answered it, seeing Aonung and his family

"Hello, Chief, Tsahik" he said bowing his head in respect and giving the sign 'I see you' to the family

"Hello Neteyam, how are you?" Tonowari asked returning the gesture

"I'm good thank you, and yourself?" Neteyam asked

"I'm well thank you" Tonowari replied

"Well come on in, my mother is just finishing up dinner" he said opening the flap welcoming the family in

"Ahh Jake, how you been?" Tonowari asked while giving the sign of 'I see you' to Jake.

The two men started chatting, as well as the women.

Aonungs parents shared the knowledge of Neteyams eating struggles, begging them not to talk about it to Neteyam. As it will most likely make him go deeper.

They shared their own experience with Aonung, and gave them possible ways to help from a distant. Also that they were going to be there for them too.

Jake and Neytiri were stunned, they never fully noticed their eldest sons issues with food. They noticed him not eating, but the boy lied to them saying he had already eaten. This made them feel worse

They felt terrible, like they had let their beloved first son down, and were most definitely going to silently help Neteyam through this healing journey.

Tsireya went straight to Loak, talking to him about something, the two sat giggling in the corner

Kiri stayed with Tuk. While Aonung quietly took Neteyam outside

"How are you feeling my love" he asked

"Alright, I'm kind of nervous" Neteyam said

"You would be, but everything will go great, I know it, plus I get to spend time with my boyfriend" Aonung said

"Thank you for this Nung, you have no idea how much your helping me" Neteyam said leaning up a quickly kissing Aonungs lips

Aonung returned the kiss

"Trust me I understand what you're going through my love. And it is hard. But you are amazing and everything will be ok" He said smiling at his boyfriend.

"Can you sit next to me?" Neteyam asked

"Of course my love" Aonung said

The two walked back inside seeing the table full with food. Aonung looked over to Neteyam to see his face full of nervousness

They went and sat down side by side. Loak and Tsireya across from them

Neytiri started serving the plates.

When it came to her doing Neteyams one, he froze

She only put a little bit on his plate, silently trying not to push him

He started feeling sick, just looking from the food back to everyone surrounding him

"You can do this" Aonung whispered placing his hand on Neteyams thigh, rubbing it gently under the table

Neteyam have him a small smile

Everyone started digging in to their meal.

Neteyam hesitated before lifting up a piece of fruit, placing it in his mouth

Aonung smiled beside him, watching him chew the fruit before swollowing, then breathing out deeply but quietly

Loak and Tsireya across the table, looked so proud of him

Kiri unaware of the gravity that the scene of Neteyam eating had

Neteyam looked up seeing his brother eying him with a wide smile. Then gave Loak the 'shut up' face.

Continuing to eat his dinner, slowly

Part of him felt comfortable to eat in front of his family, with the presence of Aonung it was like they weren't even there.

The two family's ate their meals, talking about the village ect

Jake and Neytiri would look up every so often seeing if Neteyam had eaten anything.

Although Neteyam only had a small plate, he ate every last bit of food on it

Smiling to himself as he set down his plate.

Aonung could not be more prouder of his boyfriend

Everyone finished up before Aonungs family started to head home.

Before he left Neteyam pulled him aside, outside the mauri away from his family's praying eyes

"Thank you Nung, thank you so much. I didn't know I could do it, it's been so long" he said

"No problem Teyam, I'm so proud of you" Aonung said placing his hand on Neteyams shoulder rubbing it gently

"Thank you, I love you" Neteyam whispered smiling

Aonungs parents looking back smiling at their son and his boyfriend

"I love you too" he whispered before turning around following his family

Neteyam went back inside, heading over to his bed

Loak stopped him.

"Im proud of you brother, super proud" he said

"Thank you Loak, I didn't know I could do it" Neteyam said

"Hopefully you will start to come back into better eating" Loak said

"Me too, I think tonight went well" Neteyam said smiling

"It did, you did great Teyam. Goodnight, I love you brother" Loak said smiling patting his brothers shoulder

"Thank you Loak, goodnight, love you too" he said smiling before heading over to his bed

"Goodnight son, sleep well" his father spoke from across the room

"Goodnight dad, I will" he said turning around back to his bed

Laying down in it, smiling his was into a deep sleep, something he really needed.

Throughout the next few months, Neteyams eating improved so much.

Although he didn't have big meals, he ate more than once a day, sometimes with, sometimes without Aonung with him.

His family was proud of him for overcoming that burden on his life.

They had mentioned his eating struggles, after he declined dinner one night. The topic being brought up in turn caused Neteyam to shut down, thinking they would be mad at him

Of course they weren't, they supported him throughout the whole time they knew.

Encouraging him, and coming up with ways to make it easier for him

And it worked, even though some days it was hard.

Aonung and Neteyam had little date nights once a week. Both bringing food and eating it all.

Aonungs parents knew about the two being together, Neteyams did too but were waiting for Neteyam to tell them.

It was obvious, considering how much time the two spent together. They slowly realized that their son was in love. Even though he was with a boy, it didn't matter to them, he was happy.
