Birds are happily resting on their own branches chirping as if they were a part of an orchestra. They waited for each of their turns as the cute sounds they produce is truly a music to any passerby's ear.

It is now the start of another school year in the middle of the rainy season as despite the dim light in the middle of the day, everyone was excited to start their new year. Maybe not everyone, but at least some are.

"Okay everyone! I am the new adviser of section M-8. Please call me Mr.Cruz" The new teacher announced to his students. The whole homeroom class lasted for the next 2 hours.

"H....Hello.. I'm a transfer here... I'm hoping if you could help me to get around here?" One of the students with long black hair which seems to be wearing a decent quality of clothes tried to get the attention of her classmate on the opposite side of her chair.

It took a while for the student to notice her, she seems to be listening to something. Soon awkwardness took over her, her knees started to feel itchy to just leave the scene as if nothing happened.

"Oh.. I'm sorry, can I help you?" She finally answered removing her airpods in the process. "I... I'm sorry for bothering you... I was hoping if you could show me around in here...."

"Are you a transfer student?" She just noticed, due to the awkwardness she felt earlier. Her voice was so calm and kind that it was mesmerising. "Y...yes... Oh rude of me! My name is Emetries Jadaya!"

"I'm Kathleen Jade, it's my fourth year here. Nice to meet you!" She offered her hand for a hand shake as she shakes it gently. "Fourth year? are you a repeater?"

Out of curiosity, that question just came out of her mouth. Upon realization a ball of sweat forms on her forehead as she was afraid that she might have hurt her feelings. "I... I'm sorry if I sounded rude! I didn't...mean to..."

She stares at her for a whole minute turning the atmosphere more serious. The transfer student sighed in defeat thinking that her curiosity have already ruined her attempt to make a new friend. The dark aura surrounding them soon disappeared as Kathleen started to have a fit of laugh.

"Nope, not at all. This University is really different from the rest. I'm actually a fourth year, like a real fourth year in highschool. The sections here are mixed, no matter what year you are, sections only considers your popularity points." She grabbed the guide book on her bag regretting that she haven't spared a time to atleast read it a little. How embarrassing.
