new beginnings, i suppose

Nina and maggie agreed to talk to crowley and aziraphale and went to the angel's bookshop but only to find crowley inside with aziraphale nowhere to be seen
"Where's mr. Fell? We need to talk to you" Nina asks her tone neutral and full of attitude, maggie then nods and speaks
"Yeah, where is he?" Maggie and nina then both look down at crowley sitting lazily on aziraphale's chair.

Crowley sighs and speaks lazily like he always does "he's out! Not a good time"
Crowley says not even bothering to look at the two, however nina and maggie quickly sits down on a sofa in front of crowley
"I wasn't asking" nina says sitting down and maggie follows and sitsJj down beside nina.
"There are things you need to hear...you and your....partner, have been messing about in our lives" nina says as they sit down and crowley's eyes follows their moves through his very thick sunglasses.

Maggie crossed her arms tightly over her chest and spoke  "we're not a game...we're real people!, you cant just- pair us up for your amusement!" Maggie says looking at crowley, crowley then lazily speaks reasoning with them "you were crying, and nina needed rescuing and--" crowley speaks slurring as he points at the two but before he finished his sentence nina replied "my relationship just ended!...im not ready to start another one yet." Crowley looks at nina with a confused look as he listens to nina's words  "i'd just be a rebound mess!" Nina says looking away and continues speaking "i can't start seeing maggie!- when im ready, i hope she'll be there--but there isn't any guarantee." Maggie speaks right after nodding  "there is" maggie speaks softly clearly speaking to crowley and nina slightly rolls her eyes at maggie  "you're not helping angel." Nina tells maggie with a nickname, and maggie shrugs apologetic .

"Look at you two!....you're the hard bitten one, you cant...trust anyone ever again, and Mr. Wherever he is, is the soft one who still believes in magic and--people basically being good and all that" nina speaks and crowley gets more and more confused as he speaks looking at the two in front of him "why are you telling me all this?, i dont understand" crowley says and maggie says with a small smile on her face
"That's why she's telling you...b-because you dont understand" maggie takes a deep breath and speaks again "because you and Mr. Fell don't ever talk to each other" maggie says looking at crowley's confused face and crowley speaks defensive "we talk all the time!" He says as he adjusts to chair and sit straight up "we have been talking for millions of years! Bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla- i say something Brilliant, he says something unintentionally funny back. it's great" He says gettingg all defensive and maggie speaks again. "You never say what you're really thinking" maggie says and crowley doesnt speak as he sink into the chair again "that's all we needed" maggie says lookng at nina with a smile. "It's what you two need as well" maggie continues speaking softly to crowley.

Meanwhile the metatron and aziraphale was done talking and aziraphale looked like he got great news as he walks back to his bookshop seeing maggie and nina walking out and they give aziraphale a smile and he returns and walks to where crowley was and for the first time in 6000 years, crowley felt anxious, really anxious as he pace and takes of his sunglasses as he stutter "so, uh....i suppose ive got..something to say-- i-i know we ought to be talking about-its probably best if i start of doing all the talking, you do the listening because i dont talk now i probably wont talk about it ever again, yes so-" crowley says speaking fast and anxious as aziraphale tries to interrupt him 
"What's that lovely human expression?- oh yes! 'Hold that thought!' " Aziraphale chuckles softly and  excitedly as he points a finger to crowley, and crowley was a bit confused-again. "You see i-..i have some incredibly good news to give you" aziraphale says sighing as he struggle to find the right words as the demon raises a brow and speaks "really?" if you had heard ir, it probably is in a sarcastic tone.

Aziraphale stutters and is overwhelmed with excitement to the point that he couldn't even think or speak straight. "So......um......-the metatron!, you know i-...i dont think he's as bad a fellow- well i-i-i think i might've misjudged him" he speaks stuttering again and again as he has a smile on his face and crowley is trying so hard being patient with the angel and doubg the listening.. "You see...i-..." And aziraphale sighs trying to find words "well, he said, um, th-that gabriel-obviously hadn't worked out....um, as supreme archangel and-commander of the heavenly host!-and he asked who i thought, shoyld take over in heaven-now that gabriel has gone!...and i said "micheal?" And he said "no" and said "there's only one candidate who makes the slightest bit of sense...and that's you " and i said 'me?' " he says and chuckles slightly and continues speaking "and he said "well yes, you're a leader, you're honest, you don't just tell people what they want to hear-it's why gabriel came to you in the first place, i imagine...there are huge plans afoot, enormous projects.....and i will need you to run them' and he also said that i can work with whoever i want as supreme archangel and i can bring you back to your full angelic status!" Aziraphale speaks as crowley was shocked and a bit pissed to say "he said what?" He says looking at aziraphale as aziraphale replies to him
"He said i could appoint you...to be an angel" aziraphale says as he smiles in aziraphale's mind, he thinks that if crowley turns angel again...they could be together without heaven's side and hell's side lashing out on them tearing them apart from each other...but crowley on the other hand, was pissed at this information...he doesnt want to be angel again, probably if he was still new to being a demon yes he'll want to be one again but it has been 6000 years and he had grown comfortable at being a demon...he wouldn't expect aziraphale to understand since he hasnt fallen.. "You could go back to heaven and all that, just like the old times....but only even nicer!" Aziraphale says chuckling in happiness as crowley's mind races on thoughts as he speaks "right....and you told him just where to stick it, then?" Crowley says sternly and aziraphale's smile twitches and fades a bit  "n-not at all"  "oh we're better than that, you're better than that, angel! .. You dont need them, i certainly dont need them!" Crowley sAys as he circles around the room as if he was panicking "look- they asked me back to hell, i said no!, i said im not joining their team!, neither should you!" Crowley says then faces aziraphale as he talks  "b-well obviously you said no to hell, you're the bad guys!" Aziraphale says awkwardly chuckling "-but heaven!....well- it's-its the side of...-truth, of-of light!.......of good! " aziraphale says and crowley takes a deep breath and speaks snarling "when heaven ends life here on earth, it'll be hust as dead as if hell had ended it!" Aziraphale tries to speak but didnt and crowley continues "tell me you said no." Crowley says firmly looking at aziraphales face as he slowly walks towards him "tell me you said no."  Crowley said more softly now as aziraphale's eyes avoid crowley's.
