Dancing in the nights (Heejake)

The cold breeze of early december blew through his hair while he stood there by the railing after finishing the nerve-racking practices for their recent comeback.

He cannot believe that a normal boy from Australia with a very short training period can compete in a show like 'I-LAND' and make a debut as a member of 'ENHYPEN'.

Now that he thinks of it, I-LAND have given him nothing but trauma except one thing, Lee Heeseung.

Jake has been liking Heeseung since the first time he saw the male walking inside the building in all glory while other participants called him the 'Ace' of the show and, he surely believed that after Heeseungs entrance performance.

Jake tried his best to stop those stupid feelings creeping inside his heart but it was to no avail. Heeseung already stole that little piece of organ and had it under his control. It beats on his commands and stops on his commands too.

Damn, not Lee Heeseung again.

He sighed.

Heeseung has been ignoring him after he confessed his feelings. Or more like he's the one who's ignoring the older because Heeseung wanted him to act like nothing happened and still stay as 'friends' like they were before.

It happened on the day of their debut. Jake wanted to clear things out before he could proceed onto such a big journey of his life but later on, he regretted it so much that he was embarrassed to even appear in front of the older.

Jake tried his best to get over his feelings for his teammate whom he's supposed to stay with for he doesn't know how long, but the little things Heeseung does makes him fall harder.

Like Heeseung has been getting taller and more manlier, Jake can't help but stare at him whenever they are dressed up to perform on stage.

It has been almost a year since the confession and Heeseung has been different for a while now. It was their anniversary a week ago and he was more clingier to Jake than he usually is.

Whenever Jake cooks them late night ramen Heeseung out of nowhere, hugs him from behind and leaves some random kisses on the side of his head and on the back of his neck.

And Jake couldn't help but blush whenever Heeseung pulled that action.

God, help!

"What are you doing here?" The voice from behind him startled Jake and he almost stumbled backwards, expecting to fall down on the cold floor but he somehow ended up straight into that person's arms.

A pair of arms coiled itself around his waist to support his balance while his own hands hung awkwardly in the air. Low breathing sound filled his eardrums as he felt the up and low of the person's chest.

"Be careful, Jaeyun-ie." The low, raspy voice of none other than Lee Heeseung sounded so tempting and warm in the cold weather but that wasn't enough for Jake to help his cheeks that were on fire.

Jake freed his arms and turned around, only to find Heeseung centimeters away from him. His heart picked up its pace once again while his hands began to turn clammy.

"H-Heeseung hyung?" Jake mentally slapped himself like it was the dumbest thing to do. Obviously it's Heeseung standing before him.

Even Though, Heeseung nodded his head in acknowledgment and made his way to the railing where Jake was standing before.

Jake stood there for like half a second before walking and stood beside him, observing every move of the older. How his recently dyed silver locks outshined the moon and face having outline of the silver glow. His 'heli' earrings were cherry on top and he stood tall beside him.
